I love that Dan and Steph slept together! It would be stupid if it just happened randomly, but it wasn't random. Steph saw Libby kissing Lucas and she got with Dan to get back at her. And Dan's been so petty lately that it's hardly a shock that he'd be up for a little spiteful vengeance too. The only thing that could make this better, and I PRAY that it happens, is if Steph got pregnant with Dan's baby! Ohhh Libby would be DEVASTATED!! I sound like I hate Libby. I don't. This is just soap GOLD! And, unlike most soap pregnancies, it really means something HUGE if it goes ahead, because of all of Libby's baby issues, and the fact that Steph offered to be her surrogate, but because she had cancer they said it wasn't a good idea, but IF she gets pregnant on her own with Dan's baby - ah!!!! THE POSSIBILITIES!!!!

I don't like watching this stuff about Harry and DOCS(?) though. I'd like to think that the system isn't that petty and cruel in real life, but it probably is. Who drags a big brother away from making Christmas cookies with his little sister because of some arbitrary schedule? It's not like he's shooting up heroine in a back ally somewhere and HAS to be taken "home" to get him off the streets. Oh, and if Missus Foster Mum is so perfect, why did she start driving away before Harry was even in his seat, let alone had his seatbelt on? (Not to mention speeding off while he was half out the car window!) That's ILLEGAL! They should report her for negligence

I actually thought about the idea of Steph getting pregnant to Dan and i'd love it!!!More so because i can't stand Libby and Susan and that'd kill them lol.

Believe me when i tell you once DOCS have found someone for you they couldn't care less what happens to you,so the whole Harry thing doesn't surprise me.

I think you'll find its the DHS and not DOCS that are taking care of Harry's welfare at the moment.

I've been camping all weekend so I JUST saw the finale tonight. Paul as an elf - hah! And the wedding, awwww So happy for those crazy kids. I like the rivalry that Lynny and Becs have going, but I hope it's not just an excuse to get Paul to cheat AGAIN, because that would be repetitive and unfortunate. I kind of wish Lynn would just crawl back under her rock. I like her as a character, but I don't like the sort of love-triangle trouble she has the potential (and petty spitefulness) to cause.

I was disappointed that we didn't hear anything about Lucas, but I appreciated Rebecca's references to him not being around for continuity's sake - good work, writers! I understand that they wanted to end on a cheery Christmas note, and even Andrew turning up was a happy thing for Paul, when it could have easily been treated as some kind of unwanted disaster. Of course for Donna that IS how it was treated, but that was just a matter of coincidence (a pretty big one at that, but it's a soap, you have to go with these things sometimes). Seeing Lucas squished under a truck might have been a bit of a downer in amongst all the elves, weddings, and boxer shorts...

Did anyone else get the feeling that Lucas was committing suicide? The way he was shown thinking about Elle and Dan - the two most important people in his life, who were no-longer IN his life - and the way his speed kept climbing up, and how he didn't slow down at all for the cop... I don't know if he was just meant to be rebelling cause he was angry, or if he really wanted to get himself killed. I think it could be an interesting storyline if it's the latter, and a great way to bring Dan back, to make him realise that he has people who need him.

Ohhh I'm not looking forward to a long hot summer without Neighbours . Roll on next season!!

I was watching the Neighbours promo for next year and I'm sure that it is Steph crying 'I'm pregnant' over the images of Donna looking at the pregnancy test!?

I agree with those who enjoyed the finale - it was a nice festive uplifting episode, great to see the traditional light wars again this year! haha

I didn't see Lyn's confession about loving Paul coming though - Susan's face was classic - it was feeling sorry for Lyn, angry and as though she was about to throw up all in one haha

Yeah I didn't think it sounded like Donna saying she was pregnant, and I'm fully on board the Steph getting preggers theory. Drama drama drama!

Honestly, I don't think is a promising start to the year. The one bright spot was the hilarious conversation between Steph and the priest.

I think the characters themselves are written really well and truthfully - however I do think the show overall needs a good shake up.

I know they have the G rating to consider, but they've always had the G rating and yet it has been a hell of a lot more edgy in the past. I think they need to make the show a bit more serious again, I'm not saying get rid of the Neighbours charm or the comedy AT ALL, but the show felt more 'serious' back in the 90's especially during 1992-1994, 1996-1998 and 2002-2004 and these were periods the show rated the highest both in the UK and Australia. I know it isn't official ratings season but the show got appalling figures for its return at just above 560,000!
