And like a bevy of successful actors before them, they are grateful of the training the soap is affording them before aiming for bigger and better. Brisbane boy Chris Milligan who plays Kyle secured a manager in the US last year and says he will “definitely” head back there later to pursue work. "Now that I'm contracted with Neighbours that's kind of on the backburner for a little bit," says the former Iona College student who grew up in Wynnum, "until I can save some more money and then live over there." Gemma Pranita, who plays Jade, is in two minds about where her aspirations will play out. "It's hard," the Sydney girl who studied at WAPPA says. "I'm keen to check it out and demystify the whole LA thing and what pilot season's all about; but I'm also inspired by the work here. There are some great shows - with The Slap and I love John Edwards (Offspring). "But LA has that sparkle about it. I visited and it certainly feels like this is where an actor should be. And London - Neighbours is big in the UK so I wouldn't shy away from that either." ---------- What’s in store now for Kyle and Jade… AS we barrel towards this Friday night's Neighbours finale, let's get an insight into what it will all mean for Kyle and Jade: CHRIS: Kyle's just come back from helping his mum and hurting his leg, obviously, but he finds out their old housemate is dead so he and Jade share that mourning loss of friend sort of closeness thing, then Jade opens up… GEMMA: … about her past and ex-boyfriend. So there's an Ex from her past who's coming back next year. But in terms of Jade's affair with Malcolm - now that Kyle's back she realises it is time to gvie him the flick and too many people find out about it. She realises it was just meant to be a bit of fun and now he's like told people, so it's over. CHRIS: Kyle's put two and two together. At first he's really angry with Jade but once he realises he really likes Jade, he says let's forget about that and see where we can start off now. But when he comes home she's gone. Mal comes over to tell Kyle but he doesn't give him a chance to say anything. Straight away he hits him. He sets off on his crutches to Federation Square to find Jade… GEMMA: And she appears and they mutter a few words. It's almost more romantic because the dialogue is very minimal. CHRIS: And that's where it all begins.
Lucii Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 Loved the fed square eps. Even though I knew Gemma hadn't left I was still freaking out when Kyle got on the wrong bus. Their kiss was lovely and I hope it works out for them

It seemed too obvious but I loved the scenes at the beach! Loved the ep today. The family photo with Toadia, Sonya, Callum, Jade and Kyle was cute x

I'm glad Jade didn't go. I like Chris.I hope he's ok. I don't really get everyone's obsession with Kyle.Sorry.
