devon Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 (edited) Well they're voted by the general public so I guess the 'people' have spoken tongue.gif It weren't just the public - the Daily Mail's soap critic (whom I usually respect) thought along the same lines, too Kevin was such a tosser to his daughter tonight. The writing for this whole 'Molvin' story-line is just complete toss. As if anyone would be that hung up over Molly I feel for the actor that plays Joe. It's as if the scriptwriters are punishing the actor, for deciding to leave, by giving him a pisss poor exit story-line, as if anyone would be that shameless to steal a few quid from a Charity box? It's hardly EastEnders. Edited January 23, 2010 by devon Quote
DinerLandlord Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 (edited) Crappie, I mean Corrie, did not deserve the award this year. it has been one of the worst years they have EVER had, while Eastenders and Emmerdale have been on top form. ITV must be so desperate to save the show's reputation. I was glad to see the back of Sham or whatever she's called. Can't bear her and the boy with the lego hair, and their constant whining/crap acting. The only teen worth watching is Sophie. Edited January 23, 2010 by DinerLandlord Quote
-Kevin- Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 Crappie, I mean Corrie, did not deserve the award this year. it has been one of the worst years they have EVER had, while Eastenders and Emmerdale have been on top form. ITV must be so desperate to save the show's reputation. Yeah I think its just a travesty , and I'm not the only one because the BBC have accused ITV of fixing it. At the awards Corrie had the most coverage in regard to promos and highlights which is very strange because barely nothing has happened the last year in contrast to Eastenders and Emmerdale, also how Corrie can get more coverage of upcoming stuff is beyond me seeing as how exciting Eastenders is at the moment with the upcoming 25th anniversary celebrations. Complete injustice if you ask me anyway because I have never seen such cr*p being churned out day after day on Corrie!! Quote
devon Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) I'm losing the will to stick with Corrie. Tonight's episodes were pure dross. I'll think I'll stop watching - once Joe's explosive exit's screened. Edited January 25, 2010 by devon Quote
Zetti Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I havent watched Corrie in nearly a year. Such a shame. I might watch when Tracy is due back and for Blanche's funeral Quote
DinerLandlord Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Tracy will hopefully liven things up a bit again. I hope she makes both Michelle and Becky's lives hell, especially Becky. Quote
Lesley Bee Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 I have to admit it will be good to have Tracy back in the street, she should defiantely set the cat amongst the pigeons Quote
Mrs Bishop Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Cant wait for Joe to get his demise but whos going to cop it in the end ,poor Gail she dont half pick em. Quote
DinerLandlord Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 ^ I have no sympathy for Gail. She is a world-class idiot. Everyone kept warning her about Joe, but she trusted him blindly and now look what has happened to her. She never listens to Audrey, and Audrey is always right. Quote
devon Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 I actually feel more Sorry for Joe... He came into the show as a smartly dressed/confident/pretty-successful-middle-aged-man - then, he met the 'Curse' AKA Gail. Quote
