I guess there is an argument that Tyrone and Fiz "spending time together" kind of proves Kirsty right but I can't say I'm really bothered, Kirsty pretty much forced them together and Tyrone would have left her ages ago if she hadn't blackmailed him into staying.I was a fan of Tyrone and Fiz together back in the day and wanted her to pick him over Kirk when he proposed so I hope they make a go of things. Can't see Kirsty letting go easily though and it's hard to see the wedding plan going off without a hitch.Tommy taking the rap for the boiler repair was noble if a bit stupid, fortunately it seems like there aren't going to be any repercusions.Chesney's attitude has been annoying me, even if I understand where he's coming from, and I shudder to think how he'll react if he finds out what's really going on.That said, he was just the same with John and was provided right so...(Nice reference to Rita's own brush with carbon monoxide poisoning, by the way.Although given that that was Steve's fault, perhaps a slight missed opportunity.)

The whole love hexagon that's going on is somewhat frustrating.I really think it's past time for Leanne and Nick to call it a day. He'll always be the consolation prize to her and neither of them has exactly covered themselves in glory lately.I was pretty disgusted with Nick's behaviour at the school play.Eva might have set him up but that was no excuse:Even if Peter really had got him out of the way, he should have confronted him about it afterwards, not started a fight during the play and ruined it for everyone.(His taunting Peter about bringing up his son was begging for a smack too, which I guess he got metaphorically when Peter stayed.)Similarly, I think David and Kylie have been as bad as each other lately and, while they've possibly got a stronger relationship than anyone else involved, I'm not sure they've really got staying power.I actually kind of think Nick and Kylie could possibly make a go of things, despite the fall-out, but I doubt that'll happen, it looks like it's going to be written off as a one-night stand:They relate to each other well and, while it would be hard on David, it might give Nick the makeshift family he seems to want.Did think they should have had Kylie leave for a while if she was going to threaten it.As for the other two, Peter just seems to be choosing the path of least resistance and Carla...well, she got on my wick when they first turned up and I cheered when she went back to the States so I groaned when she turned up again but actually she hasn't been too bad since then.I thought she handled things right with Rob but with him out for revenge she might regret going relatively easy on him.

Lewis is radiating insincerity with his pursuit of Gail and it's a wonder she hasn't cottoned on.Then again, it is Gail and Nick's blunt words about her choice in men are pretty appropriate.Nice to see Simon Rouse popping up as his partner in crime(has he done much since his twenty year stint on The Bill ended in cancellation?).Loved Sally switching from worrying Gail was after Kevin to wondering why she wasn't.Then again, Sally did hook up with one of Gail's ex-husbands...

While there are still times when I don't like Stella, I am rather liking her and Jason as a couple and am glad they seem to be ignoring the critics and making a go of it.

By the way, I added the '80s boxset to my collection recently. As well as being the point where I started watching, so it was interesting to see the show turning into what I remembered, it was amusing to look back on the period where Nick and Tracy were still the cute kids, even if neither of them are played by the current actors(in fact, there's three different Tracys over the course of the '80s).Seeing Gail warn Deirdre she doesn't want Nick catching Tracy's chicken pox left me thinking in thirty years' time that'll be the least of her worries...

Even though I didn't like Sunita and hated the way she treated Dev (I always thought he deserved better), I remember initially being disgusted with Karl for starting the fire, leaving her to burn basically being responsible for the deaths of two people. I think this kind of mirrors the Cameron storyline in Emmerdale, Cameron also killing two people and like Cameron without a confession, I don't see how he's every going to be caught. Even though in a way it's very sad seeing Dev trying to clear Sunita's name, certainly the scenes on Fridays episode when he was quizzing Sophie, I do have to admit I've quite enjoyed seeing the effect it's having on Karl. He's actually quite worried that Dev might uncover the truth. I think it's unlikely at the moment.

I did feel sorry for Stella initially but if she's stupid enough to be with Karl again given how he stole from her and cheated on her before then I'm inclined to say she deserves everything she gets. I don't really care that Karl saved her from burning as he started the fire anyway. I do agree with Leanne's stance regarding Karl but I have to say that Leanne herself has been absolutely unbearable as of late. All she seems to do mope around with a sour expression on her face, moan and whine all the time. Again I agreed with her stance on Karl but the way she was was so annoying. Then the way she conducted herself when Carla didn't tell Peter that she had arranged to buy Leanne out of the bookies and she was sitting down sniggering whilst Peter and Carla were arguing, refusing to leave. I saw on the front of a magazine a while back a caption suggesting that Karl was going to kill Leanne (obviously it didn't happen) but I was thinking at the time, you know it wouldn't be such a bad thing if that did happen.

There's no denying that Rob got some pretty big orders into Underworld but he never would have been working there if it hadn't been for Carla. He has a criminal record and she gave him a chance where most people wouldn't. I get it must have been frustrating for him working with Peter and I thought Peter was acting like an idiot incidentally, (he was such a dinosaur and resisted every opportunity Rob made to actually improve the place and bring it into the 21st century) but it was still a job he probably wouldn't have gotten elsewhere. So trying to con Carla out of 20 grand was really low and TBH he's lucky he's not back in a prison cell. And that fact she actually gave him £5000 speaks for the type of sister she is to him. I think the person he really annoyed me during all of this was Michelle, she keeps making smart remarks, acting like she owns the joint when all she is, is a glorified PA.

Chesney is such a wet blanket. He does my head in and very often launches into self-righteous rants so when Katie first started getting close to Ryan when they worked together at Dev's takeaway, I was willing them to cheat on him (even though I don't like Ryan at all) and I was glad when they did. I always thought he was punching above his weight when they were together and I think Katie's behaviour is entirely plausible. I will say that I did agree with Owen when he gave her a piece of his mind.

I found this stuff with Izzy, Garry and Tina incredibly frustrating. I don't like Tina at all and one thing that really frustrates me is that a lot of blokes seem to think that the sun shines out of her backside so I was annoyed when Gary tried to kiss her, which was ironic given how he acted when he found out about Katie and Ryan. Even though it's perfectly understandable I've personally found her really annoying as of late and I was glad when Katie had a go at her in Roy's cafe even though Katie completely got the wrong end of the stick and came across as totally hypocritical. It also really annoyed me how Tommy jumped in and tried to act the hard man re Gary. Tina has been particularly annoying this week since she gave birth. She was moaning to Tommy about the baby's name and then harping on about how much he means to her. Although her reasons were selfless she agreed to this arrangement for financial reasons. Biologically it's not even her child, she's given birth so it's none of her business anymore and now she wants to keep the baby. If Tommy really wants to be useful he should be trying to dissuade her and Tina should just get over herself.

Found the scenes hilarious re Maria and Marcus when they went to Marcus and Sean's friends wedding, particular their disbelief that Marcus is now in a relationship with a woman and Sean sniggering as a bystander eagerly awaiting his friends reaction upon finding out.

The whole fire thing left a bad taste in the mouth:It's hard to shake the feeling that the audience were expected to think that, on some level, Sunita brought it on herself by hooking up with Stella's boyfriend, which I don't agree with at all.Karl was utterly repellent even before he turned into a double murderer so I've got no sympathy for Stella whatsoever if she wants to let the creep who stalked and kidnapped her back into her bed, trampling all over Jason in the process.I always get the feeling we're meant to see Stella as a wonderful person but it's hard to see why, I was cheering when Owen turned on her for not paying him.Gloria's been her usual odious self, you'd hope she'll end up beating herself up when she realises she's pushed Stella into getting back with a psychopath but she'll probably brush it off as never trusting him.Given it's only a couple of months since they all turned on Tyrone for no real reason, you'd have hoped the residents would have learned their lesson about assuming someone they've known for years is guilty of something out of character but apparently not.It also sticks in my throat that they're all making out Karl's a hero who saved Stella when he didn't do anything of the sort: All he did was get trapped in there with her and get Toni killed because she had to go back for him, making him responsible for her death twice over.Shame Dev's abandoned his search for the truth, even though I'm glad Karl didn't hit him on the head with a heavy object:I've no idea what he was hoping to achieve with that, even the soap police wouldn't be dumb enough to think it was suicide, was he gonna hide the body and make out he'd run away?Leanne might be annoying at times but she's right on the money with that one.

I was on Tina's side until the last couple of weeks, I even agreed with her initially banning Izzy and Gary from seeing Jake since Izzy using him as a weapon to punish Gary for his attempt infidelity wasn't on.But now I'm utterly disgusted with her.She has no right taking their baby off them, she's just looking for excuses making out they're an unstable couple from a bad family(as opposed to her with her on-off boyfriend, manic depressive dad who disappeared at sea and mother that hasn't been near her in years)and it's got to the point where I think she's seriously lost the plot with the way she was acting when they were alone.I guess the point of the storyline is to demonstrate the inadequacies of the law in dealing with situations like this and the need to give rights to biological parents. Tommy's being an utter coward, telling Tina what she wants to hear when he's clearly got no interest in raising a baby that's not even hers, and Rita's not much better with her soft soaping.

I kind of think that I should feel sorry for Chesney but I don't, given the daft ways he's been acting lately.I'd actually like Ryan and Katy to make a go of it but I'm not sure of their chances:Ryan seems to be serious about Katy but he doesn't seem keen on the idea of being a stepfather and he's quick to palm Joseph off on other people.I'd actually like Chesney to get together with Sinead, who seems rather sweet and would probably be good for him.

Not sure where things are going with Eileen and Paul, at times I think they're past the point of no return but they always seem to claw their way back somehow.I was expecting Eileen to get hysteric when she heard about Paul saving the boy from the fire so it's nice she was proud of him.Hopefully she'll be able to come to terms with it now.

I am off to Manchester soon to visit some real life locations used in Corrie. I began watching fully in 1992 but remember it before that. Corrie is obviously nothing like it was in the 1960s but it is called evolution although that is not always for the best. I dont like the surrogacy plot and serial killer era started by Richard Hillman and more emphasis on the kids. I like scenes with Dennis, Rita, Emily, Deirdre and Norris better. I do enjoy much of the modern show though. Some say Corrie is like Neighbours but I feel it is nothing like Neighbours like Emmerdale is nothing like Home And Away.

I really hated Tina on Monday, with the way she was swanning around renaming Jake and being dismissive of the Windasses.I'm disappointed Stella gave her her job back and find it frustrating that so many people seem to be tiptoeing around her, although I was glad that the mood in the Rovers seemed to be against her.Even her refusal to accept Rita's savings is kind of negated by the fact she's using the money she took off the Windasses instead.I was really annoyed at the way Rita gave her a cloying pep talk about how Jake should be with her because she loves him(what, like his family don't?)and Tommy went into nodding mode, that was the point to tell her she's wrong. Is she really deluded enough to think that Jake wants her as his mum?

Well, I guess it was inevitable David would find out about Nick and Kylie eventually, not that anyone knows he knows. As Gail said, he seems to be very much reverting to his old ways and playing mind games with everyone.

Thought that things were going to be over soon between Katy and Ryan with his failed attempt at reverse psychology and acknowledging that he isn't keen on having Joseph around. But after his and Steve's babysitting duty and Michelle refusing to go against Katy, maybe they're going to make a go of it for a bit.Wish Chesney would stop sabotaging things with Sinead, it felt awkwardly as if his taking her along on his day out with Joseph and kissing her in front of Katy was just to prove a point, which really isn't on.I've got a feeling Chesney and Katy will get back together at some point, which I'm not sure if I want.

And wow, Emily's got a storyline!

Fair play to Tina for doing the right thing in the end and giving the baby back to Izzy and Gary. Fair play to Tommy too for actually growing some backbone and telling Tina she was the one in the wrong. I actually thought their conversation played a part in her changing her mind. Didn't really feel comfortable with the scenes afterwards where Gary, Izzy, Owen etc were inviting Tina to have a drink with them. Why would she want to be in their company after everything that happened?

I don't like David and thought the way he treated Gail in yesterday's episode (throwing the peanuts at her, trying to torment her) was absolutely disgusting but I have to admit, I am quite enjoying this whole revenge plan re Nick and Kylie's affair. I found it really funny when he trashed Nick's place, not so much the act itself but their reactions afterwards in particular Leanne's. When he first hid Peter's lighter I actually thought he was trying to make it look like Peter did it. Anyway I was laughing through the bickering with Peter, Gail, Nick and Leanne this week. Personally if I was in David's position I would have confronted him but I don't blame him for wanting revenge. I found it interesting that he confided in Tina because although I was very much on and off with Corrie before I didn't think they were on amicable terms and no way did I think they were close enough for him to tell her something like that. Which especially had me puzzled by the way she lost it with Kylie in Roy's cafe which incidentally I thought was absolutely hilarious although I would imagine it would have something to do with her giving up the baby.

I personally believe that Tim definitely shouldn't be looking after Faye. He has pretty much been struggling ever since she moved in and the fact that he didn't bother to check Faye's story about staying with Anna when he was working in Newcastle shows how out of his depth he is but I still think he should be able to see her. I understand Anna getting annoyed but was very disappointed with her telling Owen to drive him out of town but unfortunately not surprised Owen reverted to bully mode. For that reason I hope Tim doesn't decide to leave just like that.

Really, really not liking this sleepwalking storyline with Roy. Roy's a character I've never been interested in, I find quite boring and should be limited to cameo roles.

I'm glad too that Tina came to her senses and gave Gary and Izzy's baby back and that Tommy grew a spine and told her what she needed to hear.Shame that Rita didn't do the same, coming out with cloying platitudes and expecting Tommy to sort the mess out for her.I am back to liking Tina now that it's over, I do hope that she gets over this mild depression quickly though, she always knew this would have to happen. While she and David haven't hated each for a while, I'm surprised he confided in her but I guess all his family are in on the secret and he hasn't got any real friends so an ex-girlfriend was his only real option. His revenge campaign has gone screaming over the sanity line by now, he's obviously frustrated by the fact that making Nick and Leanne argue doesn't really seem to have any long term effect.

Even though he's clearly not up to the job of being a full-time dad, I do like Tim.I thought the scene where Faye told him in a matter of fact way about parents not being able to be the most important person in their own lives and loving each other isn't enough was very touching and pretty much echoed my own thoughts on the subject.(I've always been very aware that it's something I'd struggle with.)Despite this, I'm finding myself really not liking Anna, who's coming across as very sanctimonious. She seems determined to see Tim in the worst possible light to justify her stance, I think even Owen behaved better than her despite his bullyboy tactics since at least he seemed to be trying to look at all sides.Shame there's been no mention of the fact that it was Anna's dig about stroppy teenagers that made Faye feel she couldn't approach her, even if Tim should have done it himself. The thing with Tim and Sally is a bit random but I rather like it.(Of course Jason fancied her himself a long time ago...)

I was fully expecting Chesney and Katy to get back together this week after her fallout with Ryan.I'm slightly disappointed by that one and, even though Ryan had been up to stuff beforehand, it was a bit weird that Katy suddenly decided to think the worst of him because she came across him doing exactly what he said he was going to do and having a drink with a promoter.I was frustrated when Chesney rejected Sinead and really didn't like the way he then went running over to Katy and Ryan trying to play the hero.I'm glad that, despite pressure from everyone, he still doesn't think they can just go back to how it was before but I'm still worried about Sinead and feel that Chesney's once again choosing her on the rebound and it's just a matter of time before he goes back to Katy after all.

I'm really not sure about this "racism" storyline. It probably doesn't help that it revolves around a phrase that I've never heard of, which may mean I've led a sheltered life but may also mean that no-one else has used it since about 1970.Whatever, Paul should have recognised that Lloyd and Jenna were offended and apologised straight off but I do agree with him that Lloyd dubbing him a racist was far more offensive and in the end they were both behaving badly and refusing to back down.

And we finally get a fictional explanation for Ken's absence. The real life explanation...is of course different.I don't know the rights or wrongs but it'll be a shame if 50+ years on the show ends like this. If he really does never come back, I think we're going to have to have an off screen death but would they be able to differentiate between the actor and the character enough to pay tribute to the latter?

Have to admit, I thought the poison pen letter was absolute genius. I absolutely loved how it wound Leanne up and watching Nick and Kylie squirm. Although I enjoyed the whole revenge plan overall I do think that David went to far unbuckling Nick's seat belt (although I'm struggling to see what difference it made to the truck hitting the driver side of the car head on when the car was stationary). David definitely needs to come clean and fess up to everything. I found it really funny when he overhead Eva bitching about Leanne to Stellar planted the seed and Leanne stormed into Underworld and wanted to knock seven bells out of her sister.
Nick's accident does have the positive effect that's it's brought Eva and Leanne closer together and they seem to be getting on quite well.

Didn't have on bit of sympathy for Tina when Tracey laid into her. Just a shame it led to her drinking which indirectly led to Rita getting mugged by that gang. This whole thing with her seeing Jake is a recipe for disaster. I was kind of hoping that this particular storyline was over with. If she starts to bond with the baby then it will reopen old wounds. I'm just waiting for Tina to start breastfeeding him. Still with her onscreen partner having been sacked, I'm not sure how it will affect their relationship. I have to be honest and say, because of the stuff that's happening offscreen, I'm really disappointed we won't be seeing the likes of Kevin and Ken anytime in the foreseeable it seems. Both characters have been there a long time. Kevin part of the furniture and Ken is iconic.

There was no doubt in my mind that those guys were going to attack Lloyd and I knew Paul would come to the rescue. Almost like a plot device to facilitate a reconciliation. I knew Paul wasn't/isn't racist. Don't understand what his original comment was and the whole thing seems like a really pointless storyline now. At least it's all good. Oh and I'm glad Lloyd and Mandy split up. She turned out to be quite up herself towards the end. And even though what Jeana was doing wasn't ideal, I don't like Mandy's attitude towards her daughter's choice of employment.

I was actually over the moon when Tim changed his mind about leaving. Can't believe I'm saying this but I actually quite like him and Sally together. And the best thing about their relationship is the way it rubs Anna up the wrong way. I find myself constantly smiling at her look of disgust whenever she sees these two together particularly when they cop off with each other. It's a shame because I really used to like Anna but she's turned into a bitter, self-righteous cow. I don't like the way when Tim tried to give Faye money she turned it down flat. And when Sally wanted to know if Faye could come round for a barbecue on bank holiday and Anna said she was having one just to stop Tim from spending any time with her out of sheer spite and malice. It now really feels like she's taken a leaf out of Owen's book of bullying. I'm more than happy for them to look after Faye but I really don't want these two winning with regards to forcing Tim out of town.

I started off being largely on Paul's side and thinking that Lloyd had taken it too far but now I can kind of see Lloyd's point of view:He's had to deal with abuse all his life so in a way it's understandable that he'd try and stamp out that kind of attitude wherever he found it, even if it was ostensibly harmless.Sophie's got no excuse though, her behaviour towards Paul was just vile and it's disappointing that she didn't suffer any consequences apart from Jenna getting angry for half an episode.

Tracy was as vile as ever towards Tina:It's interesting that, with Ken absent, Deirdre, who normally thinks Tracy can do no wrong, is suddenly coming out with all the lectures and put-downs that would normally be his province.I thought Dennis was incredibly harsh blaming Tina for Rita being mugged, she probably should have texted to say she was on the way home but Rita was the one who went blundering off without telling anybody.I'm not sure about Tina being involved with Jake.I think if it hadn't been for her trying to keep him, it would have happened anyway, and in the circumstances I don't think Izzy and Gary can refuse even though it might be safer to put it all behind them.(It annoys me that Izzy and Gary seem to get all the hatred from mad Tina fans.)It was announced quite a while ago that Michelle Keegan's leaving so Tina might well disappear before Tommy.(There's been a suggestion that they'll start cutting Chris Fountain's scenes once the storyline allows it but I'm not convinced.) Of the others, I think there's a fair chance we'll see Kevin again eventually, if it had been a few months either way I don't think Michael Le Vell would even have been charged, but it doesn't sound good for Bill Roache.

I remember the mad Tina fans salivating over the idea of Anna turning nasty when she objected to Tina taking her grandchild.Well, I didn't think she was nasty then but she is now.Faye probably is better off with her and Owen but her attitude towards Tim stinks. So I'm also glad that Sally stepped in and stopped Tim leaving and that he's got someone willing to fight his corner.

As some commentators noted, the car crash was pretty ridiculous. The script seems to insist that they drove out in front of the lorry when in fact that's not how it was shot at all:They skidded out of a junction, stopped, sat chatting for a bit, then a lorry somehow failed to see them parked on a straight stretch of road and drove into them at what appeared to be at least 60 miles an hour in a built-up area.David does at least seem to feel guilty about it and I don't think he meant for Nick to get injured like that.

Well, Karl is once again showing how loathsome he is with his attempt to manipulate Craig, although it's quite nice seeing him get more and more unhinged at everything unravelling. It was nice the way that Chesney and Sinead seemed like an established couple when giving advice on him(and I'm guessing from the "more time in bed" comment that things are meant to have progressed between them), so I'm disappointed he finished it.I like Katy but I'm not sure I'm keen on her being able to get Chesney back as soon as she wants.I think Chesney's done it more because he wants his family back than because he particularly wants Katy and Tyrone didn't really give him particularly good advice.(Given that he stayed with Kirsty because he wanted a family, you'd think he'd be more cautious.)

Sylvia's exit was so abrupt I wonder if Stephanie Cole was suddenly unavailable. And I see Julie's back from maternity leave.

Although quite a while ago now, I was quite satisfied with the conclusion of the whole storyline with Karl. Quite enjoyed seeing Dev and Jason join forces and Jason's concern for Dev after Karl attacked him. Not sure if his sentence was long enough for two murders though.

Now we have new owners of the Rovers return although making Steve one of them kind of feels like a step back. Not sure how I feel about Liz coming back. I actually don't mind her although I wasn't sure how I felt about her getting involved with the stuff with Tina and Peter. I guess my main issue with the Rovers is having Michelle there. Never really liked her and I don't really like the way she acts towards Steve sometimes.

Re Peter and Carla, part of me wanted something to happen with Peter and Tina purely so that would give him a way out of marrying Carla. I don't think he was ready or wanted to marry her and he went through with it because he was to weak to tell her it wasn't what he wanted. I think he was happy with Carla but the idea of being tied to her for the rest of his life caused him to sway. And I don't think the stuff to do with what happened to Simon had anything to do with it. I felt it was just an excuse to avoid spending any time on the wedding. He was very close to having a drink before Tina stopped him and I suspect he will relapse fairly quickly and become unhappy within the marriage. Worst things are when Leanne finally seemed to accept that Peter and Carla were happy and wished him the best of lucky telling him not to mess the marriage up and the fact that Rob will eventually probably be proved right. I'm pretty sure he warned Carla about Peter before and if it wasn't for her Peter would have gone bankrupt. She's spent a lot of money preventing him from going under so I hope for her sake it's not all in vain.

Well I'm glad everything's out in the open as far as the Platt's are concerned re Kylie sleeping with Nick and David trying to kill him. There was one point where I was just so fed up with David and Kylie that I wanted both of them gone. I've actually found Nick's storyline quite interesting i.e. seeing the affect the accident has had on his relationship with Leanne, Simon and his business. Leanne actually annoyed me in one episode when Peter raised concerns about Nick's behaviour then she accused Peter of being a hypocrite because he was the same when he was on the alcohol. Yes Peter may have been hypocritical but you can't possibly expect him to keep quiet when he's worrying about his son's well being just because he did something similar previously. I actually thought Peter was very diplomatic anyway. One thing that I noted was when Nick seemed dejected that Leanne gave Simon back because he was the one thing she wanted more than anything. And he made a comment that she wasn't his wife but his carer. Never really liked Nick. I remember him trying to get Peter back on the alcohol so it could ruin things with Leanne and increase his chances of getting with her. And also sleeping with his brother's wife. However I can kind of understand his attitude towards David and why he gave Gail the ultimatum earlier on this week. I was pleased initially when I saw David in the police station going to confess and so wasn't too happy when Nick talked him out of it. Fessing up would have been the best thing for everyone as at least it would have meant David would face the consequences for what happened and eventually it would allow Nick to forgive him and allowed the whole family to start rebuilding everything. Now it feels we're back to square one. I'm surprised how easily Audrey's forgiven David though. Even though Gail couldn't stand to lose him, at least she was cold and cut him out for a bit.

I found the storyline with Faye incredibly frustrating. Whilst her behaviour at times was disgusting i.e. intimidating Mary and humiliating Simon and whilst I was extremely annoyed how Anna defended her when even Owen could see what was going on, my main problem was the real culprit Grace basically got away with it. What a vile horrid creature she was. Well hopefully we won't see her again. And her mother's attitude says it all really.

Really not happy about Todd returning it all. He seems sly manipulative and sneaky. He's got Shaun wrapped around his little finger and then there was the way he conducted himself at street cars and the bloke he deceived from London who came after him when he first arrived. Although he broke Marcus's confidence, I'll admit that I actually didn't have a problem with him telling Julie about what Brian did. Brain should have just been upfront with her from the start and it is his aunt after all, although I don't think his reasons were honourable. I got the impression he did that purely to cause trouble for his own amusement.

Again as sad as this storyline with Haley is, I'm still finding it hard to get into. I will say that Christian absolutely disgusted me the way he used his own kids to emotionally extort money out of Haley. What was she supposed to do though? She only has months left to live so I didn't blame her for giving into his demands.
