It's hard to know what the point of him was really, if it wasn't to make Rachel happy. I mean if you think about it, all he really achieved was to make Rachel miserable because sleeping with Hugh was the final nail in the coffin for her marriage. Unless he comes back I think the whole thing will just feel unresolved. I'm gonna post this in the spoiler thread about Hugh also....

I agree,somewhere amongst all my ''filth '' i've posted about this..As much as i love him in the end Rachel went back to Kim so what was the point?

The reason i have so much faith for a return is becourse it's so unresolved,she didn't even say goodbye.

Seeing as Rodger's busy with other things atm i don't expect a return to happen soon unfortunately.

Hi All,Yes i agree with ur comments.I am struggling also to say interested lately mainly because i am a huge hugh/rachel fan and was glued to the quadrangle storyline.

However i have to say i was extremely dissapointed with the way it ended.There were weeks where we were kept wondering what would happen & i was hoping that rachel would go off with Hugh because he could offer her the happiness she deserved, instead he gave her few hours to make up her mind and then disappeared without ever catching up to see what her decision was or even did he wonder if anything had happened her to make her not turn up,he did say he loved her after all - so how could you just walk out of someone life like that and not wonder about them.

As for kim, he packed his bags, rach gave him a quick hug goodbye and he too out the door like as if he was goin on a trip for a bit - not the fact that their marriage had come to an end for a couple that were so in love at one stage.

Do u agree with me when i say the ending to this storyline was so disappointing for home and away writer and a gud way to pull it back would be to re-introduce hugh back as rachel discovers she is preg. After all if u love someone like he loved her from he came to the bay he can hardly move to south africa and forget about her. I do hope he comes back and soon, it would be a shame to just leave this dangling as so many storylines for hugh and rachel

Yes, I agree with you that in the end everything was quite abrupt. Kim struggled for so long between Kit and Rachel that it all seemed a bit too easy for him to walk away in the end.

Hughy is like Martha, they look good with anyone. God, he would even look cute with Colleen, ok maybe not, but seriously, Rachel, Martha, Leah, Sally, all would look hot with Hugh
