"Sorry…" Sally and Johnny break apart from their kiss when Rachel enters the hospital room. She walks up to Sally, placing a cool hand on her forehead. "How are you feeling?" Sally smiles. "Much better. I can't wait to get home!" "Well, then it's your lucky day. We just have to do some quick check ups and then you're free to go!" Matilda looks at Ric angrily. "Ric, this is stupid! You can go to jail." "As long as I go for murder." "Don't be like this, please!" Matilda looks around and lowers her voice. "This is wrong, Ric." "I'm almost done…" "Ric…" "There." He gets out from under the hood and smiles. "All done. Come on, let's get out of here. We need an alibi." "We?" "Mattie, you're in this with me whether you like it or not." Matilda looks at him in disgust and shakes her head. "You're scaring me, Ric." "Oh, come on, Mattie!" Shaking her head she runs off, leaving Ric fuming. He stares after her for a few seconds before shaking his head and walking off. "Well that's it… Will you two be all right now?" Johnny nods at Rachel, taking Sally's hand. "We'll be fine. Thanks, Rachel." She smiles at him and nods. "Now, Sal, you are going to need to take things easy for a while. You're still very weak. No lifting heavy objects, lots of bed rest… can you do that for me?" "I'll try…" Johnny laughs, kissing Sally's cheek. "I won't let her lift a finger, I promise. You ready?" "Yeah, we can go." Ric looks at his watch and smiles as he hears a car slowly coming his way. It had to be Johnny… His heart sinks as the car drives past him and he recognizes Sally in the car… Before he can do anything to stop them, there is a screeching of tires and the car spins out of control, landing on its side… Sally opens her eyes slowly, her head fuzzy. She reaches out. "Johnny? Johnny!" He opens his eyes slowly, touching his head. He looks at the blood on his hand with mixed feelings. "Sal, are you all right? Can you get out of the car?" She tries to open her door. "It's stuck." "Okay, move over to my side…" She lifts her body up, but falls down again, looking at Johnny in fear. "Johnny, I can't move my legs!" He sniffs in the air and they look at each other, terrified. "That's a leak… we've got to get out, the car is going to explode!"
