Hush was so scary! I watched all the episodes of Buffy, up to the end of season 5 on Sky 1 when I first started getting into the show (except for season 3 because for some reason, they cut that whole season out so I was lost after season 2 finale) and they didn't show Hush on Sky1 because it was too scary to show at 5 or 6:00pm. So, when I started collecting them all on DVD and finally got round to season 4, I watched Hush in the dark on my own! <_< It was so scary, and when they started chasing Tara on the campus I was jumping up and down and telling her to run like the wind!! >.< I was younger then lol. But, yeah, that was a scary episode!

Hush got shown on SkyOne. The new episodes was on a Friday night at 9:00 with Angel on straight after, mind they did miss a few bits out. For me the scarest episode at the time was fear itself. But I'd only just started watching it properly.Thinking about it tho, I don't see why. But it doesn't bother me now.

I liked the idea of 'The First' however I do think they could of done more with it! and I really liked season 7. I wouldn't go as far it say it was my favourite tho. I loved how the ending was the same was the Harvest, with Xander, Willow and Buffy were talking about what they were doing later.

I first saw Hush on horse camp, in an old creaky shed in the middle of the bush, at about 11 at night when I was probably around 13. And afterwards we went running around outside. Yeah, that was creepy :P

I meant when they were repeating the episodes weekdays at 5 or 6pm. They didn't show it and that's why I didn't know any better than to watch it with the light off. lol. Stupid gentleman monsters! Thank you for Buffy's beautiful screaming! :)

OK, right I get you now! :) I can understand why they took it off, as if they took out everything that couldn't be shown before the watershed, they'd be nothing left apart from the credits. I feel sorry for everyone who hasn't seen it, as it's one of the best if not THE best.

Even those sidekicks of the Gentlemen in the stray jackets and just how they stumble along, they're freaky also. As scary as it is, it's also one of the funniest episodes for me.

The whole scene in the lecture room when Giles explaineds who the Gentlemen are and when Spike drank the blood and Xander mistaken him for biting Anya  And at the end when the Gentlemen's heads exploded haha. Oh, someone must upload it on youtube!

I'm buying seasons 2 & 3 today so hopefully I can buy 4 soon.

Not sure if you knew this, but they had the scene of Spike "biting" Anya right after the lecture scene

Gotta love it.

Also the scene when they're all trying to call each other but can't speak

I really just feel like buying season 4 to watch that episode now.

LOL I love that scene. Everyone's face is a picture right after Anya does the little thing with her hands. It makes me laugh everytime.

Yes, I also love the bit when Xander is blaming Spike, then Spike sticks 2 fingers up at him!

You should it's a brilliant episode!

EDIT: I've just spent my afternoon watching, Welcome to the Hellmouth, The Harvest, Hush, Gone, Smashed and Wrecked. Was going to watch more, but I thought I'd better stop as I'd be watching them all night. Anyway it's got me thinking, does anyone know which Episode Spike tries to rape Buffy? I know it's in season 6 and is after Riley going back for that episode, but for the life of me can't remember which one it is.
