 Yeah, it's a good ep.

Yeah I've seen and gotten them all (apart from S4, but IMO, that's the worst season, too dull).

I'll pick the season, and you can pick the episode and we'll switch vice versa... Anyone else wanna join in, feel free to do it :P

Start with season one... Pick an ep from there. :)

I really liked season 4, for me season 5 was my least favourite. But I guess it's each to there own.

I was going to pick Angel as it's my favourite episode from that season, but I changed my mind, I've decided Nightmares Here's a recap of the episode incase people are unsure.

When strange things start happening to the students at Sunnydale High, it seems that everyone is living their worst nightmares. Buffy and the gang must hold together to stop the phenomena before reality and the nightmare world become one.

I'll watch it later to remind myself of the whole episode and leave a comment later. :)

Season 4 has some stand out episodes like Hush, Who are you, Restless, Superstar (love Jonothan :P ) But the overall "Big Bad" story wasn't as great.

Anyway; Nightmares. One of me fav eps, good choice :P I'll watch it later tonight and leave a comment. :)

Can you believe this episode is 11 years old!

I love how this episode gets straight to the point but doesn’t actually reveal anything till half way through. I wish we got to know more about Wendell as he seemed such an interesting character. I really loved how they focused on a non-scooby-gang member for the first incident and while everyone’s trying to work out what’s going on. They show to little occasions which could look like everyday accuracies, with Giles getting lost in the stacks and Buffy with the history test and also a random punk getting a surprising visit from his mum. The last one makes me laugh every time.

Then the episode starts to centre on the gang. It always makes me laugh to see Xander walking into the classroom naked. Both him and Willows face are a picture.

I love the quote

Willow: Xander! What happened to your...?!

Xander: I-I-I dunno! I was, uh, dressed a minute ago! It's a dream.

It's gotta be a dream. (pinches himself) Ow! Wake up. (pinches himself again) Ow! Gotta wake up.

When he realizes he's not dreaming and runs from the room screaming. Willow chases after him. It’s so funny.

And them you’ve got Cordelia when the really bad hair and the outfit getting dragged to the chest club. (I forgot how funny an episode it was till now.)

I think it’s really well written when they forces on Buffy nightmares getting buried alive as it mirrors the beginning of season 6. And I find it totally strange how Xander is the only one who stands up for to his fear! Everyone else seems to run away from it! I wish they shown more of Buffy being a Vampire and I also think Angel should have been in the episode. But overall a fantastic episode.

Anyway that’s all I can think of saying ATM, But I’m sure I’ll think of more later.

Just watched the episode now

I loved the opening shot, how the camera panned up, to where Buffy entered the church, from the tunnel, holding the stake... It was a good shot... I haven't watched season one episodes in awhile, it reminded me how fugly The Master is

That poor actor who played Wendell (what kind of name is that?) where he got spiders dumped all over him... There would be no way I would of done that.

Like you already mentioned, Xander's dream in the classroom pinching himself to wake up after walking in naked  Love it... And his other nightmare with the clown. Willow's nightmare had me in stitches, when she was on stage, looking like a stunned mullet and then when it was her turn to sing she let out that little croak

Cordelia...Being dragged off by nerds with f*cked up hair and clothes hahahahahaha. I loved it... Buffy being vamped always twisted my stomach for some reason. It was a good twist. However, I felt for her most when her dad was saying all those things to her. I know it was a nightmare, but it was heartbreaking...No one would ever want to hear that.

I feel like I've got more to say but can't think of anything at the moment. But just to finish off this post; I loved it when Giles told Willow to shut up in the graveyard LOL.

I love the Master, I do think tho, he should of been in a different season, as I think they could of done a lot more with him, before killing him off.

I wouldn't want to be any where near that room, as spiders scare the hell out of me! I've always wondered where I got the saying, Why do they need all them legs for anyway. And now I know, Willow said it too Xander just before the nakedness.

Yes, it was heartbreaking, knowone would ever want to hear a loved one say that to you.

Willow  How did I forget about that! She makes me laugh so much! I loved the bit where she says is it my trun and the bloke just give her a little nod. Bless her. I think Willows relationship with Giles is so great. The pair of them always make me laugh whether it's ment too or not.

It's weird how much I like the characters in the first three seasons because they're really interesting and original characters with funny and witty lines, however, come the last three seasons, they're so different, but I still love them for other reasons. I prefer the Scooby Gang in the later series however with Anya, Spike, Tara etc, but I still love the original core four now, with the additions of Angel, Cordy and Oz.

Going back with what you said about The Master, I thought they should have used him more often as The First in the seventh series. He WAS the original Big Bad, and that whole season was about "going back to the beginning" as he stated in the first episode of that season... I read somewhere that all the other Big Bads, like Adam, Glory and The Master were meant to be returning alot more for that season, but couldn't because they were busy... Which is sad because it would have been a heck of a season.

And shame on that coach for blaming the poor boy for losing that game. Someone should wack him over the head with a baseball bat (even though it did happen eleven years ago now :o )

New episode? You choose :P

I haven't got around to watching Nightmares in a while, but I would just like to contribute to this discussion by saying that it's one of my favourite episodes. I always feel so sad for the spider guy... he didn't want to leave his spiders... but they made him... and then his brother left the heat lamp on too long... :(

I agree with Willow's quotes about all the legs though. *Shudder.*

It's one of mine as well. I know bless him! But on the plus side it's a few less spiders in the world.

I'll pick season 3, someone else can pick the episode! :)
