I wish they started showing them again in the UK. The only channel I know they're shown on is FX and I don't get that channel :(

Its repeated here in Ireland on 3e I think.

I wasn't sure if we had an Angel thread, so i'm just posting in here.

Omgosh, but Andy Hallett, who played Lorne, has died. Apparently he has been suffering from Heart disease, and on Sunday he wasn't feeling well and couldn't breathe properly. He passed away later on at the hospital. He was only 33 years old.

So sad.

OMFG!

Lorne was one of my favorite characters from Angel! Always made me laugh, he was definitely a standout character in television! That's so sad that he died so young!

The show seems to be cursed with their actors dying young.

R.I.P Andy ! :(

Ugh! Hoping this is a really, really, REALLY inappropriate database restructuring's joke... :( <That's an unfortunate place for a rewrite to occur, but I doubt this news could be seen coming so I won't hold it against anyone.

When I was in high school, I was stressed all week over the episode which ended with Lorne's head on a platter. This was before we found out that he could survive decapitation, so I was upset and grumpy about it, because Lorne was always a favourite of mine. The next week, of course, everything was fine. So I came to school the next day, grinning from ear-to-ear, and told the first person I saw, "HE'S NOT DEAD!!! :D" ... What I didn't know, is that one of the boys in our class actually had died the previous night from cancer  That is one of my most painful memories. Now it will have a whole other layer of sadness and regret added to it :(

It is a sad time for fans of this fandom. Andy Hallet was a multi-talented man who cruelly had his career ripped away when he found out he had a heart disease (he found out around the time of the final season) and now it has ripped away his life.

RIP Andy.
