I know, it was so sad . It's particularly shocking when you don't know it's going to happen. I remember watching it back in March last year (I think it was ) and I was sooo shocked that she died .

If I remember rightly, Adam (A.K.A Dr Carnegie) arrives in the next Aus pace episode. At first he's not very well liked but everyone gets used to him .

I really liked Meryl, she was such an interesting character. I wish i could remember the name of the song they played at the end of that episode, it was sooo sad

Everyone has got used to him now. There's always a bit of tension there with Adam, but all the characters get on well with each other IMO .

I presume you mean Nurse Deane? She wasn't my favourite character either, but saying that, one thing that stands out to me about the show is that I don't dislike any of the characters to an extent where I don't like it when they're on-screen.

Sorry, I really don't see it. In the last series a large part of every show seemed to consist of him coming up with an idea that would create trouble for the hospital, and the others getting together to moan about him! There are times when they work together ok, but mostly I think they'd rather be rid of him.

I think the main thing I was trying to get at is that, in the last series anyway, quite a few of the characters (*cough* Gordon *cough*) weren't fond of his ideas. I agree, yes, some of the characters still aren't too keen on him, but I think his plans are what they don't like - not so much Adam, but his plans. Just because you don't like what someone does doesn't necessarily mean you don't like them as an individual . But, as I said, I do see where you're coming from. A lot of the episodes in this series (and previous ones) have been about different characters' responses to Adam. On the whole, though, I think he has mellowed, and most of the characters seem to have warmed to him. Maybe they're not too thrilled about some of his plans, but they don't seem as against him now.
