Lesley Bee Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 Ok on first impressions it seems like its going to be quite good, but i will reserve judgement until i watch a few more episodes
bttb-rox! Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 ^ Yeah, me too! I haven't seen all of today's ep - I recorded it, plus it's available on ITV catch-up - so I'll watch it sometime before tomorrow's episode. My brother pointed out that Jonathan has something really Gordon-ish about him. Maybe it's his walk or something . Anyway, I think Andrew Scarborough (Jonathan) is lurvely!
Lesley Bee Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 ^ He is quite nice isnt he What's even funnier is when i was watching today's episode, i found myself looking at him and thinking does he look like Gordon or Jill well he is their son
~Rosey~ Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 I watched half of last Saturdays ep - I had to go pack cuz I was going away the next day [only just got back today] What ever is happeneing to my favourite couple?!
Lesley Bee Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 I have decided i like The Royal Today it may not be as good as the original, but it does enough to hold my interest Dr Johnathan Ormerod and Dr Sarah Chatwin just have to get together, the URST between them is at boiling point I like Dr O
bttb-rox! Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 I've got about 5 episodes of The Royal Today to catch up on! I'm still undecided as to whether I like it or not, though. Quite a few people on the official ITV forum think it should be scraped and I'm inclined to agree with them. The acting seems a bit wooden and it seems just like other hospital dramas. The 1960's Royal is fantastic, because it's in a class of its own. There's nothing on English TV on a Sunday night that's like it and that's the way it should stay in my opinion! I'll carry on watching it for now, but when March rolls in and the 'proper' version is back on, I think some people who watch The Royal Today will realize that it's not such a good show afterall. Who knows? Maybe I'll be a big fan in months to come . From pictures, videos and spoilers I've seen, Season 7 of The Royal (this is getting confusing now ...maybe I should make another thread for today's Royal!) is going to be fantastic! I can't wait for March - bring it on .
Lesley Bee Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 ^ I was thinking that too, separate threads for each show as it gets a bit mixed up jumping from one to the other I sooo can't wait for March until The Royal returns, while i am quite liking the new show, its not a patch on the original. You just can't beat the nostalgia of the 60's
~Rosey~ Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Hasnt been on laltley cuz of the damn tennis There still showing heartbeat, but then the tennis starts

bttb-rox! Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 Woo hoo...I've just checked Wikipedia and apparently we can expect The Royal to hit our screens again on the 16th of March! I'm really looking foward to series 7. It's going to be great!
