Agreed aswell. I don't think they have a close relationship at all. I guess since both of them have Matilda as a friend, that connects them somehow.

never!!!! Belle is a very good character and she is good with Mattie as well. She will never be bosom buddies but she is ace.

I don't mind Belle/Mattie as friends (mainly because when Mattie's there i take absolutely no notice of Belle and anything she's doing) but the Belle/Cassie friendship is just too annoying. I loved them as enemies as it gave me more to like about Cassie, that she hated Belle just as much as i do. Now that their 'friends' i've found Cassie dropping in my estimation.
