2001 Episodes on Five Life

Thats what was great about this storyline... Will had a differtent connection with both Gypsy and Dani and in a way maybe loved both... it was a great love triangle where it was hard to tell where Will's heart lies... unlike most love triangles where one coupling is portaryed as "meant to be" and the other as "in the way of true love".

Like with the recent Drew/Belle/Lucas love triangle... you as the viewer could see that Belle/Drew were meant to be and Lucas/Belle was not quite right... much better as friends. Whereas with Dani/Will and Gypsy/Will... both were great relationships and both had chemistry, love and friendship that looked good and realistic.

I personally don't really like Will and Dani together, I don't think she deserves him cos of the way she's behaved since day one! He isn't a saint but at least you can see he does his best and cares about her. I remember what he says later on when he gets back with Gypsy, he says he always cared about Dani but he always knew something was missing. Gyspy may have no treated him right but she was his first love and that's always going to be stronger in someone's heart.

As for Gypsy hanging round, well she loved him, and she was lonely of course she'd want to be with him again but she didn't tell him it was his baby because she knew he wanted to be with Dani and she didn't want to to ruin that! She hardly tried to break them up!

^^ Exactly... Gypsy did not force Will to be with her it was his choice... he did have something with Dani that was special but in the end the history with Gypsy... first love and all meant that what he shared with Gypsy was something more deeper.

I love the cheesyness of these episodes. It's so light compared to H&A nowadays (hence why I don't watch present day H&A). Gypsy is such a flawed and intricate character which makes her so compelling to watch. I feel sorry for the predicament she's in at the momment. Although as with most soap storylines, the truth will always come out - as it does in this case.

Haley's party on Thursday, I think, was particularly odd. I thought for a momment that Five Life has screwed up. Only to figure that they were showering her party through different characters points of view. Certainly not the sort of story telling you'd expect to find on a soap but interesting all the same.

^^ I was a little lost to begin with watching hayley's 18th Birthday party episode... then i realised they were looking at the events through different characters eyes... i guess HAA do seem to throw in these type of differently directed episodes in to the mix once in a while... like the recent

boys lost at sea episode!

I quite like to watch these even though sometimes they feel out of place in the middle of a week run.

I agree about Gypsy... her character is so very layered that it makes her interesting to watch as she can be quite unpredictable. I think she was played well by Kimberly Cooper.

I dont watch present day Home and away nowadays anymore simply because all the best actors have left and the storylines are boring . The storylines were great 3-7 years back in early 2000-2004 because everything was simple and laid back.

I love dani and will together and i love gypsy's acting she can be very bitchy at times! I miss the old days
