Daisyap Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 It was so sad today, I was almost crying. It really annoys me though when they don't use the word 'rape' on tv, it shouldn't be taboo. Brodie just said "he was with her", i mean what the hell?
Reo Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 For some reason I always 'remembered' Dani getting attacked behind the back of a caravan But todays episode made me wonder what Kane was thinking when they had the mediation and Kane saying that he honestly thought that was what Dani wanted.
Danifan Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 Even without using the word rape, these were some of Home and Away's most powerful scenes. Such strong acting from Tammin. These next few episodes are some of the best the show have ever done. Shame they ruined it by changing Kane from rapist to hero, giving him every sob story under the sun just to get him some sympathy. I love this storyline purely for the effect it has on Dani. We see her vulnerable side and the acting from Tammin and the rest of the Sutherlands was superb. If the writers hadn't been so restricted with this storyline, then go so OTT with the transformation of Kane, more people would remeber as the brilliant storyline it was. This is where my hatred of Kane really started!!!!

I have seen bits and bobs of the nesxt few epsiodes and I always loved the bit when she's walking with Will on the beach, I LOVED that scene, when she said "I know what it sounds like but you don't know everything" and "Forget about me for a while". So sad.

Obviously anyone in their right mind would understand from Dani's reaction that it wasn't what she wanted, but Kane was brought up to believe that when a woman says 'no' what she really means is 'yes'. And she had been giving him mixed signals (I'm not saying that's any kind of excuse, just that it's easy to see how a mixed up kid could misunderstand). I'm so glad I was in today to watch these eps, they were fantastic (much more interesting than the current eps actually). I always really liked Dani and this was such a good storyline. Classic H&A.

Either that or i just can't remember what happened to her as i was too wrapped up in Dani's rape to notice.

According to my Calculations, Morag's 2001 return will be W/C October 29th, she may appear on the Monday Episode at 1030, if not Tuesday Episode at 1000, she will be back on Classic Home & Away before 2007 Home & Away, where she will appear from mid-end of November.
