After sorting things out with Dan, Peter felt a little better. But, no matter how much he tried to stop thinking about her, he couldn’t get Amanda out of his thoughts.

Drew held Amanda close to his chest as Amanda sobbed. The hurt that Amanda was feeling was unbelievable. This was when he really realised that Pete was the only person that will make her happy.

Amanda eventually pulled from Drew’s arms and smiled slightly as she wiped the tears from her face.

“I’m sorry” she said tearfully.

“Hey its ok, I’m just sorry that it’s me here instead of dad,” Drew said softly. “I better be going. But, if you need anything you know where I am,” Drew said happily as he walked towards the door.

“Thanks, Drew,” Amanda said feeling a little bit better.

“Anytime, mum,” Drew joked before leaving.

Drew arrived back at the house and saw Pete watching TV and Drew slowly walked over.

“Hey mate,” Pete said happily.

Drew was sitting on the sofa opposite.

“What’s up?” Peter asked as he saw Drew looking worried.

“Uh erm… I saw Amanda...” Drew said quietly.

Peter gave Drew a deadly look as he said,

“When?”

“I went round to see if she was ok.”

“And she is!” Peter insisted.

“Dad, she told me what’s been going on,” Drew said starting to explain

“She did what?!?!” Peter said angrily and moved from the sofa towards the bedroom but stopped by the door.

“Dad, I don’t get it. Why are you being such a tool? You both love each other!” Drew said to Pete.

“She shouldn’t have told you anything!” Peter shot back at him

“Dad, why the hell are you being like this?” Drew asked confused.

“Drew, you had no right to go round there!” Peter said angrily.

Drew looked at his dad confused, wondering why the hell he was losing it again.

“It’s between Amanda and me; not you!” Peter yelled angrily.

Pete turned and started to walk away.

“Yeah that’s it dad! Walk away like you always do…. Just like when you walked away from me!” Drew shouted.

Pete turned back and walked back up to Drew giving him a deadly look.

“This isn’t about walking away!” Peter told Drew.

“No, dad. Walking away is exactly what it is!” Drew shot at him dad.

“Just leave it Drew!” Peter shouted angrily.

“You going to walk away from this as well are you?” Drew said sarcastically.

“Just leave it!” Peter shot at Drew.

“Good old detective Baker telling me to leave it! You’re just a tosser!”

Out of nowhere Peter turned and smacked Drew in the face, leaving Drew stunned as he fell to the ground in shock. Dan entered the house and saw Drew on the floor with Peter standing staring down at his son. Dan saw Drew holding his hand over his lip

Dan immediately ran up to Peter, grabbing him by his shirt and slung him against the wall behind him.

“You want a fight then have one with this!” Dan yelled as he held his fist to Pete’s face.

“Well?” Dan demanded to know.

“Dan, just leave it.” Drew pleaded with his uncle as he tried to pull him off his dad.

Dan slowly began to let go off Pete but just as he let go, he pushed Pete towards the door and shouted,

“Get out!”

Peter walked out hardly being able to believe what he had just done. He had just hit the only person he had left in his life. Peter started to walk back to the station, the only place he knew that he was able to think and the only place he had left to go to.

Drew and Dan were still in shock, they had never seen Pete like this before. Drew quickly left the house and walked over to Amanda’s.

Amanda opened the door and saw Drew’s cut lip.

“What happened?” Amanda asked worried.

“Dad,” Drew replied bluntly.

“Why? What the hell?” Amanda said shocked.

Amanda moved from the door as Drew entered.

“He was talking about how I shouldn’t have come over earlier. Then, I said a few things about him walking away and he swung for me...” Drew explained.

P/S: Because of this, you'll have to wait another 5 more days for Lil and I to sort the fic out a little. Thank you for your patience.

Peter Baker explain yourself! *slaps and kicks him* Hurting my man! You shall never get away with that God I so hate Peter right now! Dan should have punched him one, right in the jaw *giggles* ... Aww Amanda... the Amanda talking to Drew instead of Peter stuff is really sweet

I need to tell you a few things.

First of all - it's NOT healthy for me to wait that long for an update.

Second - you left a FREAKING cliffhanger. (the cliffhanger being that we still don't know whats up with Amanda!) My heart can only bear so much stress...

Thirdly - If my heart stops beating because my blood pressure got too high, i'll blame in all ON YOU
