They have a freaky after-taste. If anyone has any amazing Maryland cookies they want to throw my way, I'll make them an admin. ;) Or just thank them and frantically eat them up.

Or would it be better if we only let serious topics be opened in here, and being the Nazi's we are shut anything remotely pointless down. Exactly! I'm all for pointless threads, as long as they're not taken to the extreme. As 'that site' seemed to prove, we need to have some more fun around here.

Hate to say it, but it seems to me that there is one rule for some and another one for everyone else. I have noticed this happening more and more over the years. By doing this thread, you guys have just proved the theory, that's all. TBH, I don't personally care if I get flamed for this, and I know I will, just putting an opinion out there, I just see it as you guys giving people like the unnamed person that started the entry on the site a reason to do it. It just seems this place is bowing down to the minorities while neglecting the majority. This place does not seem as enjoyable as it once did, and I'm pretty sure that there will be others that do agree with my sentiments.

I occasionally just to scan general chat and a couple of spoilers to see how long a certian storyline will go for. All I'm saying is, by making a big deal about it, as well as a thread such as this, you are basically showing this person that it got to you. In other words, this person will now think doing what he/she did was justified. It got your attention and it got to you (I'm not talking about individuals - but the site in general). I've just seen threads that have not been so pointless get closed, and it's just an observation I have had. I'm pretty sure people do agree with me, but are just afraid of the backlash from such opinions, I'm not. Besides, most people don't even notice I'm here as much as it is. I've also noticed a few more things that have been going on, but I will not say at this stage, because I can't be bothered. But I'm sure some people around will know what I'm talking about.

That's how I'm taking it. I can see how you'd see that's a double standard, but I really do think this thread is open for anyone - not to reinforce any kind of hierachy or whatever that site was on about... What I disagree with is the idea that you can't object to it without basically being told to leave the board... Perhaps there's more going on there, and I know I'm sensitive to it because I know a site where there's a definite ruling clique... just seemed a little unfair. Sorry Mar, if that wasn't the intention.

It's under 'General Chat' anyway, so it's not like it's doing anything wrong. Ok, so maybe it's not the greatist topic, but as long as its not affending anyone, what's up with it? As for my favourite cookie, i agree with Chris J, Maryland are the best! *Yay!*

I just don't get it, if this board's that bad, why bother coming back?

I agree with you Emmasi, because it happens when someone generally disagrees with anything really, I made a comment about the show awhile back and had several people tell me, "why do you still watch it then?" Some of the comments here I can ignore, but some I can't. Having said that, It wasn't anything personal on you Mar, I'm just putting some observations out there, and it gives me faith that so far I have not been personally attacked. One of the reasons I do come back is that some people can give me an intelligent debate, I do sometimes find the "why do you watch/come back/eat/whatever" a bit tiresome. Again, nothing against you personally Mar, because you are not the only one who does it.
