I can see how you might have got confused :P. I'll update in the next day or two hopefully :D. I was plotting storyline ideas the other day and it's amazing how much material came into my head, so I just wrote it down as quick as I could :D.

I tried to make the ending of this chapter as shocking as I could, but I don't know if it worked. Comments are much appreciated :P...

Chapter 29

INT – HANNAH’S HOUSE – EARLY EVENING

Ollie walks down stairs.

Hannah: I thought you’d be busy packing?

Ollie: Yeah, I was.

Hannah: So…what stopped you?

Ollie: I was just thinking that maybe I should ask Sal first. I don’t want it to seem as though I’m on her doorstep and she has to take me in again.

Hannah: You don’t have to explain. I understand and if you feel better about asking Sally before tomorrow then that’s what you should do.

Ollie: I might go there now, then.

Hannah: I think that’s a great idea.

Hannah walks over to where Ollie is standing and puts her hands on his shoulders.

Hannah: You don’t need to be nervous. From what you’ve told me, you’re part of Sally’s family, so you turning up there again is going to be a surprise, yes, but she’ll be happy to see you. I know she will.

Ollie smiles before Hannah pulls him into a warm embrace.

Ollie: I better get going before it gets dark.

Hannah: Okay, and remember…don’t be nervous.

Ollie: I won’t.

Hannah: See you later.

Ollie leaves Hannah’s house

Paul walks downstairs.

Paul: Where’s Ollie got to?

Hannah: He's gone to Sally’s place to ask if it's okay for him to stay there again.

Paul: Oh right.

Hannah: I keep telling him that everything will be fine, but I don’t think he's too convinced.

Paul: You're right, he’ll be fine. He just needs to tell himself that.

Hannah: Yeah. Anyway, there’s some leftovers in the fridge for you.

Paul: Excellent, I’ll tuck into that now.

Paul walks over to the kitchen.

Susan opens the door and walks in

Susan: Hello?

Hannah: Hello, where have you been today? I’ve hardly seen you.

Susan: Oh, no where really.

Hannah: Right. Well, have you eaten?

Susan: No, but I’ll be fine. I might grab something later.

Hannah: Okay.

Susan: I might go upstairs, then?

Hannah: Susan?

Susan: What is it?

Hannah: Can I talk to you for a minute?

Susan: Of course.

Susan slowly walks over to sit on the sofa, wondering what Hannah is going to ask her.

INT – THE DINER – EARLY EVENING

Rachel: We should probably get back to the hotel.

Jack: The hotel?

Rachel: Yeah, it’s where we're staying at the moment while we figure out where to go.

Jack: Ah, right.

Kim: We’ll see you guys soon, then?

Martha: Sounds good.

Rachel: Thanks for a great night. We’ll call you when we make it back to the hotel in the city.

Jack: See ya.

Martha: Bye.

Kim and Rachel leave

Jack: Are you okay? You seem a bit distant.

Martha: I’m fine.

Jack: Okay, well how about we order dessert?

Martha: You go ahead, but I’ll be fine, thanks.

INT – HANNAH’S HOUSE – EARLY EVENING

Hannah: So you being out so much hasn’t got anything to do with Ollie?

Susan: No, not at all. Why would it have?

Hannah: I don't know. You just seem to be a bit out of it that’s all.

Susan: Yeah. Look, I’ve just remembered something. I’ll be back later, okay?

Hannah: But we haven’t finished talking.

Paul walks over with his dinner. Susan runs out of the house.

Paul: Wow, what’s up with her?

Hannah: I have no idea.

INT – THE DINER – EARLY EVENING

Jack: That was the best chocolate cake ever!

Martha: You’re such a kid, you know that?

Jack: Haha, very funny.

Martha: We should probably get going.

Jack: What, now? I thought we were gonna stay for a bit longer.

Martha: I know, but it’s getting late and I want to do some final wedding preparation stuff.

Jack: You’ve got a couple of weeks to do that.

Martha: I know, I know. But I want to get it all over and done with so I can enjoy being engaged.

Jack: Awww.

They kiss

Colleen walks over

Jack: Hello, Colleen.

Jack and Martha look at each other.

Colleen: We are trying to run a business here if you don’t mind?

Jack: We’re just about to leave.

Colleen: Oh and could you at least have the decency to clear up after yourselves?

Martha: Sorry?

Colleen: There’s chocolate cake all over the floor.

Jack: I’ll clear it up straight away.

Jack goes into the kitchen just as Irene walks in.

Jack: Sorry, Irene.

Irene: What an earth is going on here?

INT – THE CARAVAN PARK HOUSE – EARLY EVENING

There’s a knock at the door. Brad goes to answer it.

Brad: Hi, can I help you with something?

Susan: I’m looking for Sally Fletcher. This is were she lives, isn’t it?

Ollie slowly walks through the back door and into the kitchen.

Brad: Who’s asking?

Susan: I'm Susan...Ollie’s mother.

Ollie stands back in shock.

Thanks, Jane! :D I'm not too sure when I'll next update, but I'll try not to make it too long :P. I'm in the process of writing another fic at the moment, so I'll be focusing on that for a bit. But I promise there will be more updates...eventually!
