Lilone Posted June 23, 2007 Report Posted June 23, 2007 Chapter 17 *lil runs for her life* Amy stood helpless by door, as she watched the doctors examine Nic, she couldn’t believe she was unable to do anything. As she watched, her head was spinning…. “What if I had gone in 5 minutes earlier?” “What if I had comforted him more?” “What if his friends were there for him more?” “What if I didn’t let him out of my sight” “What if I did all this? Would Nic still be lying there after trying to kill himself?” Millions of thoughts were going through her head and all she could do was watch the doctor’s try and save him. Tim, Holly, Rodger, Kate and Jon burst through the hospital doors running towards Amy who was pacing up and down by Nic’s room. “Where is he?” Tm said trying to get into the room but Jon pulled him back. “Amy what happened?” Tim said still shocked. “He had been in his room for ages then after I practically dragged him from his room he gradually agreed to get ready and come to Kate’s. I was waiting for about 15 minutes and I was worried when I hadn’t heard anything. I walked into the bathroom to find him on the floor unconscious holding a pillbox in his hand.” Amy explained on the verge of crying. Holly pulled her into her arms as Amy burst out in tears. Jodi paced up and down the bedroom at the cottage unable to even look at Paul who was stood looking upset and scared by the door. “Why!” Jodi muttered to herself. Paul walked further into the room and kneeled down beside Jodi as he placed his hand on her leg. Jodi looked at Paul as she said, “Why Paul, Why didn’t you tell me!” A single teardrop landed on to the floor from Paul’s eye, “I’m so sorry.” “How dare you keep something like this from me?” Jodi said angrily. “Jodi is it so hard to believe that I only wanted what was best for you?” Jon wrapped his arms round Kate, holding her close as they both watched Nic fight for his life. Tim was sitting down anxiously waiting for a doctor to tell them what is going on. “What’s taking them so long?” Tim said getting worked up. Holly reached into her bag looking at her mobile phone’s missed calls. She quickly glanced at them before deleting all the messages. “He’s going to be okay, it’s Nic were talking about!” Jon said trying to keep positive. Tim looked up at Jon, “if he was a fighter why the hell did he try and kill himself…. He needed us and we weren’t there for him,” Tim said angrily before going back towards Nic’s room. Mark drove into the car park at the studios and saw Rhys, Lincoln, Bobby, and Indi standing together on the side of the pathway towards the beach. He walked over to them as he tried to forget all about his package what he now called his stalker. As he walked closer to them, he knew that by coming straight out and asking about the package they would deny it so he decided to try and trick them and get it out of them that way. Jon, barely being able to fight back his tears, was still holding Kate. Tim was getting even angrier as he couldn’t see Nic through the window because the nurses had pulled the blinds down… “He’s going to be okay.” Amy said placing her hand on Tim’s arm. Mark was in his dressing room with Bobby when the delivery boy gave him his post. “Someone’s got friends!” Rhys said smiling. Mark gradually looked through the pile and picked a package up from the bottom, he slowly opened it as he saw a stack of photos. He picked them up and was gob smacked, as he couldn’t believe what he was looking at. “What the hell!” Rhys said stunned as he grabbed the photo off Mark. Mark dropped the photo as he raced out of the room, “Where is Indi, have you seen Indi?” Mark yelled to random people as he ran through the studios. “Jodi please you can’t just walk out of here!” Paul pleaded as he grabbed her arms, stopping her from leaving. “Paul just let me go!” Jodi shouted angrily as she tried to leave. “Jodi I’m not letting you go until you understand that I was only doing it to protect you!” “All you ever care is about you, Paul no one else. You saw how confused and how much it was killing me to not know who the father is!” “Well you had some idea, first Rhys then Nic…who else Jodi?” Paul said angrily. “Paul don’t start this… you have already done enough, do you think I will ever be able to forgive you after this.” “Jodi please don’t say that…I should have told you but I saw how close he was getting with Kate and only telling you this would ruin his relationship.” “Paul you don’t get it do you, Jon has a right to know I’m carrying his child… It’s his baby not yours Paul!!!” Dr. Rankin walked from Nic’s room looking over at Tim, Jon, Holly, Amy, Kate and Rodger. “Is he ok?” Tim said hurriedly. Preview: Is Nic alive? Will Jodi risk ruining Kate and Jon’s relationship? Why does Mark need to find Indi?

Did I miss something? And it's Jon! Wow! I did not see that one coming. This stalker thing is pretty cool... Wonder if it's someone we know.. Great update Lil!
