Chapter 18

Special long chapter but considering *cough* Beckypraticallybeggedme*cough* I am going to give you 18 and 19 but make it into just 18 so it's extra long!!!!

“When he was brought in, we had to pump his stomach of all the pills that he had taken. We only just managed to stabilise him.”

Tim sighed in relief, he couldn’t believe Nic was going to be ok; they thought they had lost him.

Holly hugged Amy in relief as Kate kissed Jon happily.

“He is still very ill and is now asleep. He needs his rest but we will need to keep him in for a few days”

“Can we see him?” Tim asked anxiously.

“Yes but not for long, he needs plenty of rest”

Tim and Holly walked in first and went to Nic’s bedside, Amy, Rodger, Jon and Kate followed as they watching Nic sleep.

Tim placed his hand on Nic’s arm, “you idiot why do you have to put us through this” he said slightly smiling.

Amy took Nic’s hand and burst into tears, “I thought we had lost you. You always have to have the attention don’t you”

Nic’s eyes slowly opened, widening as he caught sigh of Holly, Rodger, Kate and Jon smiling enormously from the bottom of his bed.

He slowly moved his hand and reach for his oxygen mask, Tim slowly took it off for him as Nic said, “I’m sorry”

Tears fell down Tim’s face, as he couldn’t hold them back, “Don’t ever do that to us again”

The amount of relief was unbelievable as Nic half smiled as he started to wake up.

Mark ran outside the studios yelling Indi’s name over and over frantically trying to find her.

“Mark what’s wrong?” Bobby said worried.

“I need to find Indi…Bobby now!” Mark yelled.

Rhys ran towards them as Bobby saw the letter with the photos.

“What the hell!” Bobby said shocked.

“But…. But why is Indi face crossed out on every single photo?”

“That’s not all” Rhys said handing Bobby the letter.

“For us to be together I have to do everything that is in our way!”

Nic was still very weak and tired, “I think we better let you get some rest,” Tim said as he stood from the chair beside Nic.

Nic slightly smiled as everyone said goodbye but Nic called Amy’s name.

Amy stopped and looked at Nic, waiting for everyone to leave, “Amy shall I wait in the car park?” Holly asked.

“It’s ok Holly, I’ll grab a cab home” Amy replied as they left Nic and her alone.

“What’s wrong?”

“I’m so sorry I really am” Nic said getting upset.

“I know you’re an idiot but please you have to promise me that if you ever”

Nic cut her off- “Ok I’m sorry”

“NO Nic I mean it, if you ever want to talk I’m here…. You have Tim, Holly, Rodger, and Kate. There are so many people that love and care about you”

Nic looked up at Amy with tears welling up in his eyes, “I just couldn’t handle life anymore”

Amy took Nic’s hand as she smiled at him, “You have everything to live for you”

Amy sat and held Nic’s hand as she watched him slowly drift off to sleep.

Kate, Jon, Holly, Rodger and Nic arrived at the studios and saw Mark yelled and getting worked up by the entrance.

They looked at one another as they fast walked towards Bobby, Rhys and Mark.

“What going on??” Tim asked confused.

Rhys and Bobby handed them the photo’s, “where is Indi?” Kate said shocked

“I don’t know but we have to find her!” Mark snapped angrily.

Jodi arrived at the studios alone and took a big deep breath before walking over to Jon, “Jodi have you seen Indi?”

“No I haven’t… Can I have speak to you alone?”

Jon let go off Kate’s hand and walked away with Jodi,

“Jon there is something you need to know and it’s pretty big”

“What going on?”

“I’m pregnant!”

Jon’s face dropped in shock.

Mark, Rhys, Tim, Holly and Kate were becoming seriously worried as Bobby returned with Lincoln and Frankie with no news about Indi’s whereabouts

“No one has seen her since earlier”

“Her mobile just keeps ringing out” Mark said seriously concerned.

“We need to call the police,” Holly said getting her mobile.

“Ok” Mark replied bluntly.

Jon had practically dragged Jodi away from the side of the studios to the beachfront as he looked at her, “So I’m the dad!”

Jodi looked at him confused, “You knew we slept together!”

“Well I don’t go round sleeping with random girls and not remember!” Jon said harshly.

Jodi went quite and just didn’t know what to say.

“So you didn’t remember us sleeping together…. Well obviously you didn’t but you made it very clear to me that you never wanted to mention it again especially to Paul!” Jon said confused.

“Jon I really don’t remember!”

“I don’t understand…. How did u know that I was the dad?”

“Paul… he had told me yesterday that he saw u leaving my flat. I guess he just worked it out.”

“But I’m confused … I’ve just started a relationship with an amazing woman and you tell me this”

“Well I’m sorry but you should have thought about that before using what’s in your trousers!". Jodi shot at him.

“It was a mistake and as far as I can remember you wasn’t exactly saying no were you!!!”

“Jon look I didn’t want this to happen but it has and we need to talk about what were going to do!”

“I can’t exactly say get rid because I will back you with what ever you decide.”

“I really don’t know”

“I’m not going to lie to you… I want to be a dad but I don’t think it’s right because of the circumstances”

Tim stood with the others waiting for the police to arrive.

Bobby suddenly blurted out “What if it’s the same person who killed Cam?”

Everyone looked at each other but none of them even thought for the slightest second Cam’s murderer was responsible for this – or are they?

Pc Castle and Pc Lye walked over to half of the cast who were now stood outside, Mark was the first person to run over as he gave them all his packages from the stalker.

Nic was still drifting off every 10 minutes or so but he smiled slightly as he looked at Amy in the chair next to his bed, fast asleep like a baby.

Nic gradually leaned across and grabbed his packet of grapes that Holly had brought him. He picked one up and lightly through it at Amy.

Amy jumped from her chair, frightened and looked at Nic who just sat looking at her with a smug look upon his face, “What?” he said innocently.

She laughed as she through it back but it ended up straight in his mouth, “Thank you I was getting a bit peckish!” he said now chewing on his grape.

Amy smiled at him, “What the big smile for?” Nic said looking at her.

“Nothing… well its just I’ve not seen you smile and laugh like that in ages. It’s really good”

Nic slightly smiled back but his face dropped as Amy took his grapes. “No fair their mine”

Amy started to eat them leaving Nic unable to get them back. “Amy come on” NIc said grinning.

“Ok, ok you win but I better be heading back anyway”

“ok thanks for coming” he said a bit upset.

Amy kissed Nic on the cheek leaving herself and Nic confused before leaving the room.

“You have to find her now…. Who ever has got her means business!” Mark yelled at Pc Castle.

“Mark we have officers searching the area now. We are doing our best”

“Well obviously it’s not good enough if she hasn’t been found yet!!!” Bobby said furiously at Pc Lye.

Pc Lye mobile began to ring, she answered and walk away from the others.

“We need to find Indi now!” Holly said deeply concerned.

“Guys I know you are worried but the best thing you can do is be patient and let us do out job!” Pc Castle said trying to keep them calm.

“What’s wrong?” Bobby said scared as Pc Lye walked back to them looking serious.

“A female body has been found just down by Mangrove River and it matches Indiana's description”

I didn't expect Jodi to come out and tell Jon so quickly!! But i'm glad she did...now i'm wondering whether he is going to tell Kate .

I hope its not Indi...that would be soooooo sad . Poor Mark and everyone else who is having a rough time at the moment . More Kate and Jon scenes would be much appreciated . Only joking, this fic will be awesome no matter what you do to the characters!!

Chapter 19

Holly turned, hugging Tim in comfort.

Kate looked around but Jon was nowhere to be seen, Bobby pulled her into his arms.

Pc Lye looked at Mark as she said, “I’m sorry but I will need one of you to identify the body!”

Tim slowly walked back into the hospital dragging his feet as he headed towards Nic’s hospital room.

“I just can’t get rid of you can I?” Nic smiled jokingly as he saw Tim.

Tim didn’t even hear Nic; he was acting like he was in a completely different world.

“Tim?!” Nic shouted.

Tim shot his head up looking weird at Nic as he slowly made his way to a chair by Nic’s bedside.

“Mate what’s wrong?”

Mark held on to Kate as they slowly walked into the mortuary, tears fell down Kate’s face. Mark hadn’t said anything since he was told a body had been found.

Tears slowly fell down Mark’s cheek as he fell to the ground, looking at the body that lay in front of him and Kate.

Kate leaned down hugging Mark as she cried on his shoulder.

Paul sat on his doorstep with his head in his hands as he started think about how much

he had betrayed Jodi but the only thing that was ripping him apart inside was the fact that Jodi was the only one he has ever truly loved and after this he knew there wasn’t a chance for them.

Holly stood with Jodi on the beach staying silent thinking about Indi, “Omg!”

Holly and Jodi couldn’t believe it, “Indi!”

They both immediately got up and ran over to her, hugging her tightly as Holly said, “you’re alive!”

After a few seconds of Holly and Jodi hugging Indi, they dragged her up to the studios where Jess and Bobby stood gob smacked, running over to her holding her tight.

Indi managed to pull away, “Guys I’m okay… what the hell is going on?”

Everyone had gathered in the studios still trying to come to terms with Indi being alive and well.

Pc Lye and Caste walked into the room, Mark walked over as he asked, “When are you going to catch this sick idiot!”

“Mark we are trying our best to find who ever is doing this but it’s not easy when we don’t have many leads!”

“Well get some leads to follow up!” Mark said angrily.

Kate walked over to them, “Do you think Cam’s killer could be responsible?”

“Yeah you haven’t even caught a murderer so what are the chances on catching this sicko?”

“The murder is still an ongoing investigation and we will not stop until they are caught!” Pc Castle said firmly.

“I can’t believe it” Nic said still in shock.

Tim just looked at Nic unable to believe it as well.

Nic looked up and saw Amy stood by the window with a massive grin on her face. Nic was confused, as he didn’t know what was going on.

Amy made her way into the room smiling as she blurted out, “She’s alive!”

Tim shot his head up stunned as he smiled enormously.

Amy hugged Nic in relief as Tim looked on happily.

Paul made his way into the car park of the studios and quickly headed towards his dressing room. As he entered the dressing room he saw Jon sitting on the sofa looking at him. Paul stayed quiet as Jon walked up to him, “Why didn’t you tell me that he saw me leaving Jodi’s flat?”

“What…?. Expected me to tell you that the woman I love happened to sleep with my best mate and I caught you leaving her flat!” Paul said sarcastically.

“Don’t you think I wanted to come clean to you Paul? It was a huge mistake and Jodi made it very clear that by telling you it would only break your heart!”

“But you still did it anyway Jon!” Paul yelled.

“Paul it was a mistake. We were both drunk. After Jodi had kissed Nic she was distraught about kissing him, I tried comforting her and we just ended up sleeping together!”

“We just ended up sleeping together!” Paul repeated Jon’s last sentence.

“ Jodi deserves more then this. She deserves some one who wants to spend the rest of their life with her not someone who will get her pregnant and leave her to look after the baby on her own!” Paul yelled.

“You slept with Jodi and she’s pregnant,” a distraught and confused Kate said slowly.

Jon and Paul looked at her as she quickly turned and ran from the room.

“Kate wait!” Jon yelled as he started to chase after her.
