Lise Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 ^ You should definitely watch the earlier seasons. It will make more sense if you've actually seen it all. Brothers&Sisters is one of those shows that I'd keep watching even if the couples I like split up and that's very rare which I find sad. Most of the shows on tv now just don't have the storylines to hold my attention these days but this does. It's definitely one of my favourites, at the moment.

Most of the shows on tv now just don't have the storylines to hold my attention these days but this does. It's definitely one of my favourites, at the moment. Yeah its a unique show in the sense that even thought it might not be overly dramatic and partner changing every week it is still very interesting to watch. It is a lot more slow paced which I find very fresh and endearing. The relationships between the entire family just come across as so real, and the onscreen checmistry they have is fantastic as well! Season 3 for me has to be the best so far, it had some fantastic storylines throughout and really had me hooked and as soon as I heard that Kitty was to be diagnosed with cancer I just knew that it would be beautifully written and acted brilliantly. I didn't dissapoint myself either because the cancer storyline is very emotional and Calista Flockhart is doing a wonderful job. Kitty & Robert's relationship is also another of my reasons why I love the show so much, and I am so glad that they aren't just giving into a divorce straight away but seem to be working things out which rarely happens on a TV show. I like the fact that Robert's morals get in the way of their marriage sometimes but Kitty knew that Robert's big love is his work from the get go and now a couple of years later its causing conflicts within their marriage. and Kevin is really really irritating this season!! I don't like his attitude towards Scotty or the surrogacy one little bit, he is so controlling and bossy.
Lise Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 I'm not much of a fan of Robert so it makes liking the couple hard when you don't like one of the characters. I do like that they have different opinions and have stuck to them and not caved for the sake of their relationship. Robert has always loved his job and sometimes it's seemed he's loved it more than he's loved his wife. It'll be interesting to see where they go with their relationship once Rob leaves and Calista spends less time on the show. I hope that they move to Washington DC to pursue Robert's political career. The family dynamic is great. I like all of the different relationships within it.

I love Kitty, shes my favourite in the show and even though Robert is very annoying I would really miss him ! bahhhhh so gutted now.
Lise Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 Sorry, Kevin but both have been confirmed. Exclusive: Calista Flockhart scales back 'Brothers & Sisters' workload and It's true: Rob Lowe to exit 'Brothers & Sisters'. Both of those are clickable links, btw.

I love them both and they are quite a main part of the cast , and they are the only family in the show as well (obviously outside of the big family). I can see Robert winning the campaign and having to move somewhere. At least Kitty won't be gone permanently , I guess I should be thankful for that. I think that maybe Sarah will be brought to the front of the show now because Kitty was quite a central character during the last few seasons and Sarah didn't have much.
-Kevin- Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 Yay!! I just read that Luc is to become a series regular I am so happy about this because I absolutely adore Sarah & Luc
lino Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 I read it too. I was so happy. And Ryan is not coming back which is a bonus too. I just wonder about Tommy? I really miss him with his siblings when he is not around. I hope he is back regularly too.
Lise Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 I love that Luc has become a regular. I've loved him since he first appeared. I don't think that anyone can be dissapointed that Ryan is leaving. He's barely been seen this season and it's always been at Ojai. They seemed to drop his storyline with the family. I've heard that Balthazar wants to come back fulltime. I'd love to see more of Tommy. I hope that it means Julia would come back because I miss her.

I hope that it means Julia would come back because I miss her. I also heard he wants to come back. But i was reading that Gilles will be back for Luc full time. And apart from Ryan and Rob Lowe the whole cast will be back properly. So i was just wondering if Balthazar is included or will we see Tommy again only a few episodes. For his wife Julia i am not sure since the actress just had a baby.
