I know it hard not to be cynical given the recent cancer storylines but I really feel that Dan Bennett has to follow through on this one - advanced Melanoma in the form of secondary cancer is one of the most agressive forms of cancer and it would be just too over-the-top, even for Home and Away to end in miracle cures - or mis-diagnosis.

As for not hearing whether Joel is leaving or not - perhaps that has been deliberate - to keep the fans on this forum guessing!

Anyways Tuesday's night episode was very heartwrenching - well done to Kate, Joel and Ray.
