It was published in TV Week about a month or 2 before it happened, from what I can remember

We knew in the UK as well: It was in Inside Soap for that month and I remember a magazine cover of Bobby and Adam with a big strapline about Bobby's death.

I didn't know about Bobby's death until it happened on screen. And as a youngster at the time, it was a real shock and had a massive impact on me at the time as she was a favourite of mine.
