cymbaline Posted January 25, 2023 Report Posted January 25, 2023 Because Martin was an idiotic jerk whose IQ was scarcely higher than Lance's? The only difference being, he thought he was smarter. Those sort of people are the most dangerous of all. 1 1 Quote

I reckon the writers had them win the lottery to give us some laughs Quote

The car, all $100,000 worth, was stolen from outside the house. Sadly, we'll never know who stole it, and the joyrider will never get caught, and we know Lance didn't get it insured, Martin his "financial manager" "didn't get around" to getting the car insured. Anyway. My question is: why did Martin leave the keys in the ignition? Why did Martin sneak into the cocktail party? Marty saw Russell (who had beaten him and Lance soundly for perving on his girlfirend, Dawn and there was an incident involving the recovery of the lottery ticket, which resulted in Lance pocketing Dawn's knickers, which copped him another beating) on the door as the Bouncer and didn't want another pasting, which he more than likely would have gotten. And if you recall, Marty isn't THAT much smarter than Lance. Edited January 26, 2023 by CaptainHulk 1 Quote

cymbaline Posted January 27, 2023 Report Posted January 27, 2023 I'd have happily allowed him launch them into the middle of next week where they'd never be seen again. These days, would their perving on guests in the shower block be treated as a jolly jape and a fun storyline? Quote

Technically, if it's the middle of next week they would be seen again! (I'm here all week!) Doubt they'd attempt it these days where you can get cancelled in 3 minutes if you so much as fart wrong! 1 Quote

Old H&A Fan Posted March 28, 2023 Report Posted March 28, 2023 How do I find an old question that has already been answered somewhere? eg. Why wasn't a parent or guardian present when Dodge was interviewed by the police (374) as he was still underage? 1 Quote

Why wasn't a parent or guardian present when Dodge was interviewed by the police (374) as he was still underage? Old Man Forbes (off screen) watched the Interview and positively ID'd him and likely washed his hands of him. The Fletchers weren't gonna touch him with a Barge pole after the confession. Though someone from DOCS (Molloy or West) should have been present. 1 1 Quote
