Back half of Carly's stint, she had aged out of the system but like Frank before her, stuck around. She and Ben did move out to run the old Jackson farm briefly but she hated it there Quote

BUT about 30-odd years later in another show across the state line a Bartender, a Former Stewardess and a Cop decided to do that kind of thing, ripping up the rulebook. Was referring to the parellel Universe H&A of 92 that was never seen on-screen... When the teens went off at 8pm to do Flathead's endless homework, the 20somethings went out to play... Now I'm having visions of Adam, Bobby and Mazza at a Sydney rave! 1 Quote
Old H&A Fan Posted June 25, 2023 Report Posted June 25, 2023 There were 3 music tracks played in the footage of the party Blake, Karen, Sophie and Hayden were invited to, in Episode 699. I've been able to identify the first and the last track, as: When The River Runs Dry by Hunters & Collectors Stuck On You by Paul Norton What was the second one? Quote
Old H&A Fan Posted June 29, 2023 Report Posted June 29, 2023 Can anyone identify this music that plays in the Diner from about mid-1990 to late 1991 (or even later?) Quote
Bobby Forever Missed Posted June 30, 2023 Report Posted June 30, 2023 it sounds VERY similar to Cover Your Bliss by the B52s from 1989 i don't think it is though because they were never on Mushroom who had the music contract with H&A and Neighbours at the time Quote

CaptainHulk Posted June 30, 2023 Report Posted June 30, 2023 I tried scouring Discogs but no avail. I even specified "Australia" "1989-1991" and taking a guess on the song name based on chorus lyrics. (Great site if you like out-of-print, cheap music or judtwant to take somebody DOWN in the music portion of a Pub Quiz.) 1 Quote
cymbaline Posted June 30, 2023 Report Posted June 30, 2023 I think they sometimes played reworked tunes on the diner's jukebox because of rights issues. One of them was Madonna's Vogue, which would've been erm...en vogue at the time. Quote
