The irony about the UK is that we, supposedly, don't take it very seriously at all. I mean, you only have to listen to Terry Wogan's (loved his mention in Ireland's entry, btw - absolutely inspired!) commentary during the finals to realise that we totally take the pi**. The weird thing is, though, that we give so much money to the competition (a competition that we think is a joke - makes no sense) and so we're guaranteed to get through - we don't need to bother actually trying. So, on that basis, being guaranteed entry, you would've thought we'd just totally take the pi** (since we haven't got a chance in hell of winning because it's all political) and send bad entries. But, no, we send Andy (a binman from a reality television show here). Okay, his talent is questionable in my opinion, but he has apparently been quite popular - which qualifies him as 'good' in the public's mind. I think it would be far more fun if we sent someone horrendous - like Jordan. It was a travesty she wasn't selected last year.

No Andorra, Im sad, to bad we in Sweden couldnt vote. But I am happy that Norway got to the final. Cant wait for tomorrow night, I really hope we make it and dosnt flopp real bad, like Martin Stenmarck did for Sweden in 2005.

I dont want to watch to annoncement, I am so afraid that Sweden may not make it, I think we will but after yesterday I am not sure. But I always wish, please vote for us you who can and like the song off course.

I was ready to support Ireland. I haven't seen the Uk, France, German and Spanish entries but if they're rubbish it wouldn't surprise me. The competition wouldn't go ahead without the money from those countries. I reckon we should form a break away group.

The one thing that annoys me with it, is that half the countries that are in the competion aren't even in Europe. Turkey aren't (but as Turkey is half greek i can understand how they got in). But since when has Bosnia-Herzogenia been in Europe????
