I liked Iceland, Norway was good, Sweden off course,Bosnia and Herzcegovina.

I wanted to give 12 points to Björn Gustafsson, he was the best thing during that whole miserable time. He was great, atleast I got to laugh.

Didnt think Russia should have won they didnt have the best song.

I would rather have seen Greece, they were much better.

THIS IS MOSCOW CALLING

It was a bit blur what will happen with the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest host city. It is now clear that Moscow will host the 2009 Eurovision edition. The news although impressive are not welcomed by the Eurofan community. Moscow is known as the most expensive city in the world and it will be hard for people to attend the show. We only hope Russian broadcaster does something about that.

Ha. I can see the purists skinning the Russians alive over ticket prices...

How did it rate in other countries?

It had 487.000 viewers here (29%). 2 years ago the finale had 1.026.000 viewers

A lot has been written about Eurovision in our papers the last few days :P

Well, England getting a really naff amount of points didn't come as a suprise! I thought Andy sang the song very well, but as usual hardly anyone voted for us.

One thing that I really hate about the ESC is the political side, with countries voting for countries whom they're close to or were once part of. You're voting for the song, not the country!!! It's good that countries are loyal to certain other countries in other ways, but when it comes to the ESC, why can't the political part of it just go away?!

It was watched here by 7.1 million apparently....but then our rating couting system is a load of rubbish anyway, so who knows how many actually watched it....

I'm so fed up with the political voting, there's no point in the UK even entering anymore :(

And Greece should have won :P

Good - I'm not the only one addicted to that song then (and also having rude thoughts about Kalomira, the singer!)

(Puts muso head on...)

Definitely the best song of the night though: commercial, radio-friendly and I could easily imagine it being a huge hit in both the UK and the US.

Add in a hot bird singing (and I don't mean Dustin the Turkey) and you have the perfect package.

I dont know the exact number but it was one million less that watched this year, than last year, cant say I blame them, they can add me next year if it continues with this political voting, and when the best son dosnt win.

Why didnt Iceland or Norway win.

1 million people here watched Dustin crash and burn in the first semi. :P That 25% of the population, not bad.

I love watching Eurovison, done that since I was a kid. But I don't quite know why I like it so much. I mean, the songs are a bit better now, and they're not as crappy as they used to be... My country never picks a good song, it's so annoying, and I am never happy with the song. Yet I'm all glued to the screen hoping for the best - But Eurovision is so exciting with all the really different artists and performances, and some songs are just plain embarrassing. Oh well! But This year I liked many songs...But I can not remember which, I'm so sorry, I suck at this. Oh, yeah I do actually, I liked the winner, Russia. It's so weird... Mom and I saw the song and we just knew it would win! :)

I liked greece, I think... and this other woman having a song pretty much like greece I think... Wait... There were two ladies with great songs.... Oh my... Oh, the secret combination... lol... I can not think.
