Okey, thank you for letting us know who won.

I am listening to the song by King of Trolls now it is pretty good, they remind me a little of Lordi, I mean they dont look scary but they are dressed out as were Lordi but they were monsters and King of trolls are Trolls.

Torsten Sødals song was pretty okey to.

Why dont you like Maria H S? Her song was alright but I liked King of Trolls song better.

Im gonna try and see if I can find the Swedish songs and post them here, so you can hear Christer Sjögren.

Here is all the songs from the first final, I think the first song should have gone to the final though instead of Christer Sjögren.

Semifinal 1 - All songs

It would really help if someone here know, what song Face- 84 song reminds of

I just don't think Maria's song is special enough to go any further. It's basically just another song. I've heard it like six times within the last two hours, and I still can't remember what it's like at all. Considering that a lot of people only will get to hear it once before they're supposed to vote I don't think anyone will remember it, it just doesn't leave an impression, and then you don't get many votes either...

I agree with you that King of Trolls reminds me of Lordi. They're different in many ways, but also similar. I think that was our best shot, cause it was the song with the most personality, and also it kind of stands out. I mean place a troll next to a blonde, pretty girl with a good voice and an average song, who do you think Europe would notice? The ESC is full of pretty, female singers with good voices and average typical chart-songs. There are usually not that many trolls...

In Belgium we've got 2 pre-selections so far. Tomorrow the third and next week the fourth.

First pre-selection: Katy Satyn won. I actually like this song. I see influences from Ruslana (I loved Ruslana's song!). And I think it has potential to win the Belgian pre-selections, but I don't think it will attract attention. But it is my favourite so far!

Second pre-selection: Ishtar won. Also a great song. And everyone seems to like it. A few years ago we had Urban Trad. They were second. Their song was in an invented language, just like the song from Ishtar. Ishtar's song makes me happy, but I liked Urban Trad's song more. Sanomi (Urban Trad's song) exploded when the refrain began, and that's what I miss in Ishtar's song. So it also has potential to win the Belgian pre-selections, but I miss the explosion what will make the chances bigger for Ishtar to win.

I also liked Tanja Dexters' song. She became second in this pre-seletion. But this song is so typical. It's good, but too typical. So it won't attract attention, and it won't win in Belgrade.

Tomorrow the third heat. I'm looking forward to it. It's with a rocksong this time. And we all know you will have to attract attention to win the Eurovision songcontest (That's what I think), so maybe this rocksong will do it. We'll see..

I understand what you mean, nowadays in ESC a song that sticks out comes higher then one who dosnt.

King of Trolls should have won for Norway.

What did you think of the Swedish songs? My favorite was E-Type & The Poodles- Line of Fire, Velvet - Deja Vu.

Have a song called "Magical Sensation" and "Addicted to you" competed yet? They are written by swedes so I would like to know how they went if you know.

I haven't checked any of them out yet, but I will tomorrow if I have time :)

E-Type? Were they the ones with a couple of hits a few years back? Like around 2001 or 2002 or something? I think I remember a song called either "Life" or "Time" or something... I didn't know they were Swedish though, but I'm not surprised, if a good song that is popular in Norway isn't American or British it's usually Swedish :P

Those two songs have already competed. Katy Satyn who sings Magical Sensation won the first pre-selection. Tanja Dexters who sings Addicted To You won 2nd place in the 2nd pre-selection. So, they are both going to the semi-finals.

I think those 2 songs are really good. :)

To Elis post:

He had a hit with a lot of songs "Life" is one of them then he had, "Russian Lullably", "Paradise", "True Beliver" last year, "Campione" for a championship, "Olympia" for the Olympic games,"Set the world on fire", "Angels Crying","Free like a Flying demon", and many more, he had really succes with many of this songs in the late 90`s and 2000 forward till today.

Tell me what you think when you have listened to them.

To Barbaras post: Okey, that is good, I will have to listen to them later.

Yesterday it was the third pre-selection in Belgium.

The winner: Nelson won this third pre-selection. It's a nice and really beautiful song, but I don't think it's something for the Eurovision song contest. Again, it is not something that will attract attention. It will be great as a song, but not as something for the Eurovision song contest. Anyway, he goest to the next heat.

Second: Geena Lisa becamse second. So she also goes to the next heat. It wasn't my favourite song of the night and I think the song is just too made for the Eurovision song contest. I can't explain it well, but I hope you know what I mean.

Third and fourth: Ellis-t and Tabitha Cycon. Ellis-t has a nice song, but she is too young. I liked Tabitha Cycon's song. I think it's nice and it makes me happy. But I think the performance was a bit messy. These two may get a wildcard for the next heat.

Fifth: Di Bono was fifht. That means they were last and are out! I really liked these song. It's the genre I like; rock. But it was too soft. If it was a bit harder, it would be better.

Fourth and last pre-selection is next sunday!

In my opinion, that should have won! It's totally different.

The winner of that heat wasn't the best... it was a too Eurovision. :P
