Packed to the Rafters have a certain amount of episodes each year and therefore timing is everything when it comes to airing the first episode for the year. You need to factor in the non-ratings season and ratings season (depending on if they are wanting to screen episodes during the non-rating season), when the final episode is to be screened for the year - whether it be towards the end of November like the rest of the shows or another date in either October or November and the fact that they are still filming episodes.

Worst thing to get addicted to during study leave. I started at the beginning of season 1 and havent been able to stop. Bye bye A-Levels...

Hopefully I'll have finished the first two seasons by the time the third one airs.
