Home and Away Season Finale VS Neighbours Season Finale

I preferred Neighbours, becaus I think Home and Away really messed up the last two episodes, especially JMSM and Sally and Milco.

The only thing that could have improved the Neighbours season finale is ending it on Thursday. Friday's seemed to work better as a season premiere.

^I'd agree with that. Neighbours on Friday seemed redundant. I still liked it better than H&A though because I cared about almost all the characters involved, and was equally hooked on the relationship stuff as I was on the life and death situation. I don't get why Libby ran into the building but, you know, whatever.

It seems both of them didn't get it quite right in all respects for all fans : I liked both for different reasons. Neighbours would have been better ending on thursday, and that episode reminded me of the 2002 H and A finale. I think they were both trying too hard perhaps. Time to step back, think and not try to be all things to all viewers as it wont work.

What happened in the 2002 finale? Because it reminded me of the 2003 finale, with the mine collapse.

The 2002 finale was when Shelly left Rhys, Vinnie was pronunced dead and Ailsa came back in Alf's mind.

It was more character driven then 2003 with the mine collapsing.

Neighbours finale reminded me a hell of a lot of their 2004 finale... Characters were trapped in the fire while the rest of the street watched it collapse.

Neighbours had me more hooked then H&A's finale, so Neighbours got my vote... It was much better then their finale last year though. That was utter rubbish.
