I think maybe if they showed it on a weeknight instead of a friday night, it would get more viewers. With regards to Moving Wallpaper, i don't really see how it would work without Echo Beach, after all that is basically what its promoting
Danifan Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 I also think if Echo Beach had some of the humour that Moving Wallpaper is it would work a little better. I do love the show but sometimes there's a bit too much angst and not enough sun, sea and fun! If they do axe it (which they probably will) it will be a shame as it has so much more potential but it's not really given a chance. Anyway i still love it. Jimmy and Abi are becoming one of my favourite teen couples, i like Narinder, Ian, Jackie, Daniel and Susan; Charlie's a bit irritating at times and i could do without Grace but overall i like most of the characters, and there aren't many shows i can say that about.

While watching it though i thought it might work better if they showed Echo Beach before Moving Wallpaper, that way no surprises are sploit then afterwards you see how all the 'decisions' were made. Just a thought.
Miranda Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 As the end of the series is nigh, I must say I have been disappointed in Echo Beach. I tried to care about the characters but I just can't Jason Donovan is hampered by his fake accent, Hugo Speer just looks bored and there is no chemistry between any of the couples [except maybe Abi and Jimmy] However Moving Wallpaper is just getting funnier and funnier, especially the scene the other week where Jonathan was on the phone to the 'transexual PR company' And the joke about the drunken young actor was good too. We'll see what ITV do. If I was in charge, I think I'd get MW back with cameos from the EB characters

Lesley Bee Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 The episodes of MV and Echo Beach last night were actually the best one's, just how ironic will that be if there isn't another series I sat glued to MV waiting for the network decision about a second series of EB, then they didn't even bother to tell us I just hope there is because i refuse to believe Dan has drowned he has to be rescued and live happily ever after with Susan.
LisaCarmen Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Okay so I juuuuust found this I didn't like echo beach as much as moving wallpaper but it was still a good show My cousin was/is in moving wallpaper so i suppose i'm a little bias season 2 looks to be good airing some time around october i believe will anyone be watching?
