*caitie* Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 Sorry I haven'y updated for a while but I was away on holidays so I didn't really have a chance...but here's the next update!!... Chapter 8-The First Move Orlando's P.O.V It was so dark. Like looking down a well that was never ending. I wanted to get out. But I couldn’t. My efforts to do so were hopeless. It was also cold. So, so, cold. Like being in ice. And yet it was hot. So, so, hot. Like being in a fiery furnace. Everything ached. So much pain. But then I heard a voice. It was a female voice. I recognized it. But couldn’t place it through the pain. ‘Orlando,’ it whispered ‘please wake up, please’ It whispered gently, yet I could pick out the fear in it. ‘Orlando, please, I need you, we all need you’ She then laughed ‘Especially the school soccer team, they lost their game yesterday’ Her voice grew serious again ‘Please, you’ve been unconscious for a week now, wake up’ My then I could feel her touch my arm, and I realized it was Olivia. I felt something warm and wet on my arm and realized it was a tear. I opened my eyes and turned to her, tilting her lowered head up to meet my eyes ‘Don’t cry’ I whispered She slowly grinned and let out a yell that was a mixture of a surprise, happiness and a laugh. Olivias P.O.V I sat on my bed laughing with Ella about something that happened at school. It had been a 2 weeks since Orlando had woken up and 1 week since he’d gotten out of hospital. He and Melissa were still going strong and I could tell when I looked at them that they liked each other very much. ‘So what’s happening with you and Ryan?’ Ella said wriggling her eyebrows up and down then giggling. Olivia’s face turned crimson, and she turned away to hide it. ‘What’re you talking about?’ Olivia said as she pretended to be fiddling with something on her bedside table. ‘Don’t act all innocent with me, I’ve seen the chemistry between you two ever since Orlando’s accident, so spill’ Ella grinned as Olivia looked sheepish ‘Well yeah ever since the accident we have been flirting like crazy, but nothings happened’ Ella smiled ‘Maybe you should make the first move’
