Chris J Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 People were claiming the site became a lot faster when we removed a lot of features, such as the Active User List and subforums. Those people, has this speed increase remained or disappeared since most were added back?

Abi Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 I still have to log in every time I visit the forum aswell. Not a major problem though. The speed has been the same for me with or without the features... it's not fast, but not too slow either ( sometimes it can be a pain though).
Posy Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 It's slowed down again for me, but it does seem a bit variable. On the whole I would say it's still faster than before you did anything. But I have my board controls set to not show any avatars or signatures - so I may not be a typical user.
