^Yeah I know, it's such a sad song :(

I like the original better though; the film clip is just heartbreaking. :(

Excuse the bump, but I just heard this song on a fanvideo for Luke & Reid, and it depressed the heck out of me. Naturally, the first thing I thought of (Apart from L&R) was this topic. It's what the sad songs are for, right?

Rebecca Lavelle - The Man I Loved

We had no time

To be together

Each day we had

I tried to hold

We had no time

To be together

This was the man

That I have loved

All the love

All the laughter

Will they ever

Be enough?

Chorus:

Why? Oh Why?

Why here? Why now?

Why can't I have the man I love?

Don't say

Don't dare to say

I won't see him

One more time

Don't say

That he's gone away

I close my eyes

And I see him smile

I feel his arms

Around my heart

As they should be

As they are

Chorus

We had no time

To be together

Each day we had

I tried to hold

We had no time

To be together

He was the man

That I have loved

---

There you'll be - faith hill

Chorus:

In my dreams I see you soar above the sky.

In my heart there will always be a place for you,

for all my life.

I'll keep a part of you with me

And everywhere I am

There'll you be

And everywhere I am

There'll you be.

I have far too many songs that I think sound sad but I love Eminem & the music he writes.

Through a rap, he can reduce me to tears! He just manages to express his emotions perfectly & beautifully.

His own life, family life, everything he's gone through & he's so open about it all.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Concrete Angel is such a sad song! I always cry when I hear that song!

And Faith Hill There You'll Be as some people have sad always has me crying!

Even though the take that fan in me hates me for saying this....East 17 - stay another day.....gets me every time.

Phil Collins - you'll be in my heart has been mentioned i think and this just has me sobbing every single time since we used it as a goodbye song on a DVD made for the children at the nursery where i worked for 13 years before it was closed down :( there wasn't a dry eye in the house when we showed it :(
