KatieroxNZ Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 Here's the next chapter Please don't kill me Chapter 24 The bachelor pad “What, Jack how could you think that” Martha said with a hurt expression on her face. “Well who was that guy you were talking to on the beach” he said back “What does that matter” she said back “So you are cheating on me” Jack said sadly “No… Jack I can’t believe you don’t trust me” she replied hurt “Martha of course I trust you” Jack said “Yeah, well if you really did you wouldn’t be asking me that question would you” she said with tears streaming down her face. Jack immediately went to comfort her, but she pulled away. “Stay away from me Jack” she said angrily and running out of their house. “Martha wait” he called out, but it was too late she had already gone. Jack thought it was wise to let her calm down, because if he pushed her he was worried this might destroy his marriage for good. *********************************** Later that night It was getting late and Martha was still not home, Jack was starting to get worried. He had rung her mobile several times but she wasn’t answering, It was pretty obvious she didn’t want to talk to him at the moment but Jack wouldn’t take no for an answer. So he asked Mattie and Ric to look after Lily while he set out on a mission to find Martha. Jack had rung all their family and friends but no one had seen her, now Jack was really panicking, what if something was wrong. Just as Jack was about to ring Alf again Rachel called “Hey Rach, what’s up” he asked “Jack, did you have a fight with Martha today” she asked “Um yeah, why, what happened is she ok is the baby ok” he asked with worry in his voice. “Ok, well Martha was in a car accident today” she said sadly “W….W….What…..What how could this happen, is she ok, is the baby ok” he asked “Come and have a look for yourself” Rachel suggested “Ok, I’ll be down straight away, thanks Rach” he said “Your welcome Jack, see you soon. Bye” she said before hanging up the phone. Jack just sat there in shock for the next ten minutes, how could this happen Jack thought, it’s my entire fault. I will never forgive myself if anything’s happened to Martha or our unborn baby. After just sitting there and thinking for a bit Jack made his way to the hospital. *********************************** Next Time: Jack arrives at the hospital; will he be able to handle the sight he sees? Will Martha be ok? Will their unborn baby be ok?

KatieroxNZ Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 Chapter 25 The hospital Jack walked through the doors of the hospital with a sad expression on his face. “Hey Jack” Rachel said walking up to him. “Hi” was all Jack said managed to say. “Would you like to see Martha” Rachel asked slowly. “Um yeah that would be great” Jack replied. “Ok follow me” she said starting to walk towards Martha’s room. “Her rooms over there” Rachel said pointing to the room that had number 4 on the door. “Ok thanks” Jack mumbled. He walked over to the room and slowly twisted the door knob, and pushed it open to reveal a sleeping Martha with tubes everywhere. “Oh Martha” he said closing the door and walking over to her, “Oh I’m so sorry” he said over come with emotion. “This wasn’t supposed to happen, please wake up and let me explain” he begged her, but sadly with no response. Just then Rachel walked in with Martha’s chart. “Rach, what’s going on” Jack asked worried. “Jack, Martha has some damage to her spleen, we may need to operate” she told a shocked Jack. “What about the baby” he asked sadly. “Jack if we have to operate, and Martha doesn’t wake up your going to have to make the choice weather to save your wife and terminate the pregnancy or keep the baby and risk loosing Martha. But that’s the worst case scenario” she said. “Ok” he said back shocked ******************************* Martha’s hospital room Jack had spent the last couple of hours just talking to Martha, begging her to wake up but sadly no response. “Martha, please wake up” he said. “Lily needs you, I need you” Jack said sadly. Jack was talking to Martha but she wasn’t responding, just then Rachel walked in. “Rach, what wrong with her, she’s not waking up” he said with worry in his voice. “Jack, Martha is in a coma and may not wake up for several days. Right now the best thing is to wait.” She said with a warm smile. “But I don’t want to wait, I want my wife back” he said with tears in his eyes. “I know Jack, but it’s just a waiting game at the moment” she said with a sympathetic smile. “Now I’ll be back to check on you later, do you think you’ll be ok” she asked him. “Yeah I’ll be fine, thanks Rach” he said wiping away his tears. “Ok so I guess it’s just you and me for a bit” Jack said holding Martha’s hand. ****************************** Next Time: Will Martha wake up? Jack’s not coping, will he do something he’ll regret? Could it cost him his marriage?
dee83 Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 Hope she does wake up and hope he doesn`t do summat silly cause if Martha didn`t wake up hes got a little girl to look after whose going to need him be there for her cause her mum isn`t update soon
