But i had to do something otherwise the story would of got boring! ^ That's ok! Poor Jack! He's so sad. I hope Martha'll wake up soon. Hopefully, Jack won't do anything stupid. More please.

KatieroxNZ Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Chapter 26 Martha’s hospital room It had now been 3 days since Martha had her accident, and her condition had not changed but Jack was there everyday. “Martha please wake up” he asked her once again, but no change. “I love you, I need you, and Lily needs her mum” he said sadly. Just then Rachel walked through the door, with her chart. “Hey Rach, anything changed” Jack asked hopeful. “I’m sorry Jack, no change” she said with a sympathetic smile. “Oh, ok then” he said sadly. “I might head off then, you will call me if anything changes” he said. “You’ll be the first one” she replied. **************************** The hospital car park Just as Jack was walking to his car, his phone started to ring. It was Lucas and he wondered if Jack would like to go to the surf club for a drink. Jack thought for a bit and decided to go, and take his mind off things for a bit. ***************************** The surf club Jack had just walked through the doors of the surf club when Luc called out to him. “Hey Jack” Lucas said with a wave. “Hey man” Jack said back with a smile. “So any change in Martha” he asked warily “Um no, not yet” Jack replied sadly, taking another sip of his beer. By now Jack had a few to many drinks, and was starting to hit on other girls, as he was quite drunk. “Now what your name” he asked the attractive blonde with a giggle. “My names Hayley” she answered back with a smile. “You know you’re really pretty” Jack said with a cheeky smile. “I have been told” she replied back with a laugh. “Um Jack I think you’ve had enough alcohol for one night” Luc said walking over to him and trying to persuade him to go home. “No Luc, go away I’m having a lot of fun with Hayley” he said with a look. “No Jack I really think you’ve had enough” Luc said trying once again. “Lucas, just leave me alone” Jack said raising his voice. “Come on, lets head back to my place” Jack said pulling Hayley’s hand and leading her out of the surf club. “That is just going to end in disaster” Lucas mumbled to himself. ********************************* Next Time: Does anything happen between Jack and Hayley? Will Martha wake up?

Thanks guys Chapter 27 The Bachelor pad Jack and Hayley had now arrived back at Jack’s house; they got out of the car and stumbled towards the door. Jack almost falling over walking up the stairs. “You know you’re really hot” Hayley said with a laugh. “I’ve been told” Jack said with a smile, while unlocking the door and stumbling inside. “Wow! The house is dark” he said walking towards the couch before drunkenly sitting himself down. “I think you might be looking for this” Hayley said, flicking on the light. “Hey your right” Jack said, this made Hayley laugh. “So do you want a drink” Jack asked. “Um yeah ok go on then” she said with a smile. By this time Jack and Hayley were quite drunk, “You know life sucks” Jack suddenly blurted out. “And why does life suck” Hayley asked curiously. “Cause everything seems to go wrong” he said sadly “Yeah well, that’s just life” she said back. “I guess, but maybe we can change that” he said leaning over to her, so their faces were only inches away. “Jack are you sure about this” she asked him “Of course I’m sure” he said back. Just then Rachel walked in. “Ah what the hells going on here” she asked. “Um nothing” Jack said pulling away from Hayley. “Yeah nothing, I better get going” Hayley said standing up. “I think that would be a wise idea” Rachel said, not impressed. “By Jack, I hope everything gets better for you” she said with a sympathetic smile, before walking out of the house. “Care to explain” Rachel said “Ah no thanks Rach, I’m heading off to bed, lets talk in the morning yeah” he aid stumbling towards his and Martha’s bedroom. ****************************** The next morning Jack walked through to the kitchen, to see Rachel sitting at the table eating breakfast. “Morning” Jack said rubbing his head. “Morning” Rachel replied with a smile. “So um what exactly happened last night” he asked “Oh nothing apart from the fact that you almost cheated on Martha” she said with an unimpressed look. “WHAT!! With whom” he asked shocked. “Some random girl called Hayley” Rachel replied. “Wait what do you mean almost” Jack asked curiously “It didn’t get anywhere, but it would have if I didn’t walk in. Rachel said back. “Um ok, well I’m going to go and have a shower and then go to the hospital to see Martha, and I’ll take Lily with me” Jack said. “Ok, have fun” she replied back with a smile. ******************************** The hospital Jack walked through the doors holding Lily in one arm and a bunch of flowers in the other, he thought it would be nice and it would lighten up Martha’s room. “Morning hun” Jack said walking into Martha’s room and putting the flowers in a vase. “Now bought a special visitor this morning” he said looking adorably down at his gorgeous daughter sitting in his lap. Right then Jack looked over at Martha, whose eyes were open. “Ahhh, Jack” she asked “Hun, I’m right here” he said walking over to her with Lily and squeezing her hand. “And I’ve got a special visitor” he said, Martha looked down to see Lily sitting down in Jack’s lap. “Hey sweetie” she said grabbing Lily from Jack and pulling her in for a warm hug, all Lily did was let out a giggle. This made Jack and Martha both laugh. “I’ve missed you so much” Jack said leaning down and giving Martha a soft kiss on the lips. “I’ve missed you to” she said gladly returning the kiss. ********************************** Next Time: Does Jack tell Martha about Hayley? Will their unborn baby be alright?
