According to how the othes have done it, yes, but then there's been the trouble of peope being unable to follow instructions and write a small post with that they've voted for, so the vote will not count anyway. Easier to make people follow the rules of the contest this way.

I don't think we need one. This way everyone has to explain why they voted, they can't simply vote without explaining... does that make sense?

They are all wonderful avatars, and I'm torn between #1, #2 and #6... but I'm going to go for #1 because it's a stunning avatar.
