Personally i think... that when they were talking on the phone, Aden lied about where he was because he wasn't ready to tell Belle about his dad yet (whatever happened) but then she sees him so knows he's lying. (i think that's what the betrayals about on the sneak peek) Then i think he breaks down and Belle says, what's happened to you. I think then he tells her what happens and to comfort him she tells him that she loves him, and then he realises that he has go to the police because he knows it has to end but he wants to know if Belle will support him so that's why he questions if she meant it or not. ...and then hopefully the police matter will sort itself out ...and in this scenario they don't break up at all! A fact i'm choosing to believe for the next two weeks! Just my opinion. that makes sence and i hope that happens
