The Aden & Belle Appreciation Thread

Well I guess we have some pretty full on scenes to look forward too and then we'll just have to sit it out until they get back together.

I can only hope Belle does not get together with Angelo and Belle and Aden don't take too long to get back together.

On the cover in the corner theres a pic of Aden capped, "Aden goes PSYCHO!"

And there's a half page article, "Has Aden lost it?"

In the soap planner:

Wednesday: Aden told Belle that he was staying with his aunt down the coast, but when they speak on the phone, she hears thunder crash outside- and down the line.

Thursday: Belle is terrified after learning what Aden's been up to. Is he deranged?

I typed out the article, its pretty short...

The last time we saw Aden, his injured father was begging to be taken in for life-saving medical care. Unfazed, the reformed bad boy said they weren’t going anywhere- instead, he’d watch as Larry took his last breath. Will Aden follow through with his horrible threat?

Life had just started looking up for the Summer Bay hunk, whose relationship with Belle, (Jessica Tovey) was going from strength to strength. But when Aden (Todd Lasance) realized Larry (Paul Gleeson) had snuck back into town and was hiding out in their house, his life is instantly derailed.

“As soon as things start cruising along for Aden, they go wrong again. It’s happened his whole life,” Todd says. “He was finally back in his comfort zone with Belle and was able to be himself, when Larry turned up out of the blue and he’s forced on to the back foot again.”

Aden’s biggest issue with Larry is his drinking problems – and when he sees his dad again its clear he still hasn’t kicked the habit.

“A lot of his childhood problems, such as the abuse, are associated with drinking, “Todd explains. “So when Larry turns up saying he was also abused by his grandfather, then asks Aden to give him whiskey and medication, Aden loses it. He already gave his dad another chance after the accident that killed Axel (Trent Dalzell), but he was let down when his dad skipped town. Now that Larry is asking for more help, it pushes Aden over the edge.”

Devastated that his life is falling apart again, Aden snaps. Although he planned to give his dad the medication, he does a complete turnaround, perhaps sensing a way to be rid of his loser father for good.

“Aden has put up a lot in life,” Todd says. “Those experiences have made him the way he is now. You’ve seen the chances he’s given his dad, and this is the last straw- he’s given up.”

The theory that Aden ends up in a physc ward with Melody is sounding more and more like it's going to happen!

It would be weird if Aden hooked up with someone else as we've only ever seen him with Belle! I don't like that they break up but it does present some good plot opportunities for the characters.

It would be weird as it would seem so wrong for him to be with anyone else, however Aden has been with other girls. He dated Cassie for a while, and he kind of dated Tam as well.

i think that she will go out with angelo.. aden and belle willl just be friends but belle will still have feelings for aden and get back together

Belle probably breaks up with Aden so he can get his head sorted and get over his dependence on her... I don't think things will get too serious with Angelo, it will be a light and fun relationship, something she struggled to have with Aden, due to all his issues, I don't think they will get serious, and hopefully Angelo will realise that she still loves Aden and give it up...I can only see Belle/Angelo lasting no longer than a couple of weeks, just until Aden sorts himself out...

hmm yeah I've been thinking the same thing for a couple of weeks now.

i think aden and melody will go off to a metal hosptal or somewhere like that together

(as it was reported that they were on location together)

aden and belle will be broken up while this happens

when aden returns aden and belle will get back together

eww im dreding the angelo belle scenes

so I was thinking maybe aden gets out of hospital he goes for a walk and spots belle and angelo on the beach she's kissing his neck he goes over to her and yells at her for moving on too fast.
