Jody Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 I have never been so excited to see my favourite character (Aden) take my other favourite character(Belle) hostage. I just know, from the promo, that todays episode is going to break my heart. Maybe the promo department will learn from this and realise that Adelle promo's are the best and gets people ten times more excited than all the J/M ones. The thing that I am looking most forward to in this storyline, like other fans as well, is how on earth they are going to let Aden redeem himself and become part of the community again. I love Aden but, unlike Kane, I hope once he gets back they don't have everyone shun him and then he will do something that will suddenly make him a hero. I also want them to have the scenes with the characters actual reaction to seeing him back in public and not have that off-screen, like when Peter came back from the dead. I especially don't want to see them have the rest of the community full on hate him and then suddenly after a while everyone just forgets. I'd like to see the affects of what he has done be played out even once he comes back from the hospital. It would be nice to see him get better gradually and over time, he better not come back from that hospital all better, even if we have to wait a little longer for Adelle. The writers have yet to dissappoint me when it comes to Aden's storyline, so for now I have faith in them to handle this well.

I wonder now that Aden's gone a hostage taking rampage, if his secret, the grandfather abuse thing, will become common knowledge. They would have to give some kind of explanation of why he's gone and done this...

Under UK law at least, I believe that details such as abuse would be protected by law unless he authorized the release of the information. *I'm not a cop/lawyer so I don't know for sure*
