They could potentially send him to a youth detention facility like they did a few years back in Hollyoaks when Justin was wrongly arrested for mudering Macki. He was in like a young offenders prison. yeah i remember that! That would be a good idea here as he wasnt in the right frame of mind when he did what he done so i think prison is too harsh for him im wondering tho if he does get of on the base of insanity or whatever the legal term is!! I really cant wait for the court case to see who turns up and who says what about him! Just really hope Belle goes!
jussie Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 I don't know very much (anything) about the legal system in Australia but in the UK/US he might be able to go with the 'diminished responsibility/balance of the mind disturbed' defence. Presumably testimony about the abuse he suffered and the part his father played in that would show how he basically suffered a massive breakdown. In such a case, if he was not deemed to be a threat to the community any longer (which he isn't) he might be given a suspended sentence on the grounds that he continued his counselling.

I know he has made a big progress but there has still got to be things he needs to sort out!
xknomex Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 ye i was thinking that he must get a suspended sentence. i dont think they would send him to prision or the thing that justin was sent to as it wouldn't be good for his state of mind. just watched todays ep. i love the brother/sister relationship between Aden and Nicole. but i was a bit dissapointed when he said he wouldn't fight for Belle. but from the way he seemed upset about her moving on you could tell he still loves her. hopefuly Belle will stand up in court and tell everyone how amazing he is and then she will realise how much she loves hom and then once he is set free they will live happily ever after

Why keep sending them out to do public appearances and promos if Adelle aren't going to be reunited at some stage? </hopeful>
