But he can either be charged and sentenced to time in jail or if they are more sympathetic [like when Belle tells them what happened] they can let him off with psych consults and to make sure he keeps at school/work. Or he can be sent to a psychiatric institution if they redeem him not fit to go back into the community [which wouldn't happen because he's already been there and he's already been released]. So it'll probs be the second one. Hope that helps. This it the American law though, just be warned.

But yeah, that too. I don't think that he's gonna go to jail, cos that spoiler said he was still working and Belle was compromising his job or something right?
matticus01 Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 WOW . . . so much to catch up on loving it all the same. .. omg I bought the new tv week magazine and it said that During the court case, Aden's lawyer encourages him to tell everyone about the abuse so that the jurors can be more sympathetic and when Aden is up on the stand he keeps his eyes firmly on Belle because she was and is the only one who understands and supports him when he tells his story etc. and then when Belle gets up on the stand she tells Aden that she still loves him and she hopes that it gives him a lesser sentance and then he is sentanced and he admits that he still loves Belle.

So she loves him, he loves her. She does everything that she can to keep him out of jail, he gets angry at her. She doesn't care because it keeps him out, he's scared that people will pity him. Doesn't it sound like the perfect time to bloody get them back together again?! They SO need each other! They need to understand each other! I hope they reconcile soon. I dunno how Belle can keep going out with Angelo when she loves Aden, or how Angelo can settle for being second best.

It's like he's happy to second for best which just doesn't make sense because I dont what human being would! There's just something that I don't like about him...it's H&A he has got to have some sort of secret! Rant over. I love reading everyone's fics! They keep me happy through the bad times.
