She thanks him for them saying he didnt have too. He says he wanted to show how much she meant to him. She hugs him. It was obviously not the reaction he was looking for. Belle doesn't seen that thrilled that he just said that too her when shes hugging him. Is this where Charlie's bracelet came into it? Or did I completly miss that bit in the rest of your summary

I think he saw how happy Charlie was with Roman's gift and how they were all loved up, and after his encounter with Aden he felt threatened, so he gave her the earings hoping to impress her. But to me Belle didn't seem that impressed, I mean she thanked him and all, but it wasn't the 'I love you so much' reaction he was hoping for. I guess he feels she's gone off him, and avoiding spending time and making excuses not to sleep with him...

From the sounds of it, Angelo's trying to guilt Belle into staying with him [the earrings] and he clearly knows she's still into Aden. Something tells me he's gonna get more sinister. I love the fact that Belle goes into search of Aden when she hears 'boyfriend'. Hehehe... Fraudian slip....! Thanks once again.
