jussie Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Since re-joining H&A in 2007, Lasance has become a fan favourite as has the relationship between his character Aden and Belle (played by Jess Tovey). The on-screen couple of Aden/Belle is so popular that the news of the on-screen break-up has been met with grave displeasure by fans of Home and Away, who felt the Aden and Belle (affectionately called Adelle) relationship was the best storyline on the show. On the Back to the Bay forum site, the Aden and Belle appreciation thread is now over 700 pages with a number of dedicated posters even organising a petition to keep the pair together. WIKIPEDIA Come on, 'fess up - is one of us updating the Wikipedia site??

Mum: So where is Aden? Me: He's in a mental health clinic. Mum: But why? Me: He had that breakdown? Mum: On the island? Me: What island? ------- Dad: Why is everyone in Summer Bay so miserable? ------- Mum: Is Aden Romans son? ------ Mum: Ok, now I'm confused how comes Aden is allowed to go home? Me: How do you mean, he's still at the clinic? Mum: No, look he's visiting Romans daughter Me: Nicole? What are you on about? Mum: Aden left the clinic to go and see Romans daughter? Me: No mum, that was Geoff? Mum: Whos Geoff? ----- Dad: Woah whos that Me: Melody Dad: Shes scary Me: Yeah Dad: Scary eyes Me: Yeah *Melody: I'm evil* Dad: Scary acting! ------ Mum: So Geoff and Aden are two seperate characters? She didn't realize it was home and away XD
jim6600 Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 basically my family is hooked on H&A My mum and even my 86 year old nan are big adelle fans - theyve been waiting for the hostage thing for weeks and now there going ' when do adelle get back together' and i have to say in like 2 months time

My husband (I know - how old am I? ) occasionally watches with me but he is not that interested - only forgivable because he thinks Todd is a very good actor. But he gets irritated by the storylines: Husband: So Aden tried to kill his dad while holding Rachel and Belle hostage. Me: Er - yes. H: And now he's in a mental health clinic. H: So who's that girl in there with him? Me: Melody. She thinks she's evil because the boy who tried to rape her was killed in a hit and run accident while joy-riding a stolen scooter with his friend Jai who is the only survivor out of his whole family of the Boxing Day tsunami. The driver of the hit and run car was Aden's dad, who is having trouble coming to terms with his guilt at allowing his son to be sexually abused by his grandfather and the fact that he's an alcoholic. H: Ooooookay. And who's that woman in hospital? Me: Oh, that's Martha who's just had a mastectomy, got married, had a blood clot in her lung and lost her baby who it turns out was fathered by her ex-boyfriend and not her current husband. H: And those two on the island and the man hanging over that cliff by his ankles and the other man stalking him with the bow and arrows? Me: Well - look, why don't you go and watch the news in the other room?
