adelle Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 So I typed out the interview for those of you who asked for it I apologise there is probably a hundred spelling mistake and might not be the exact dialogue but I did my best, its like 1 in the morning here! Todd/Jess Interview (Jess is sitting on the bed and Todd climbs through the window) Jess: You do know I own a window Todd: This way is more fun. What you doing? Jess: Actually I’m just going through some fan mail, wanna help me? Todd: Oh, We’ve got fans? Jess: Apparently! Todd: Alright lets do it Jess: Come on then, snuggle in, get cozy darling! Okay, first question, from Courtney, are you surprised by the popularity of the Aden/Belle relationship? Todd: Yes! I am actually, I think it’s been Jess: What you find it hard to believe that you and I could make a beautiful couple? Todd: (shakes his head) Nooo! Not at all, I think it’s great, I mean you always hear about the Jack and Martha relationship wave and umm and we’ve been getting feedback from producers and other actors and just people in the audience who approach us and say how great it is so, it’s excellent. Jess: I was shocked to be honest. You know when you see really popular couples on the show, but I didn’t actually see Belle and Aden working when I was first told that we were going to become a couple. I even said the producer, “ohh really?!!” Todd? Really? Todd: Yeah we both thought that Jess: and just though okay we’ll go with it, and then working day 1, oh my God this is awesome! Todd: Yeah she fell in love Jess: How could I not? Look at those baby blue eyes Todd: This is from Ruth…Are you aware of the hype surrounding Aden and Belle such as the nickname “Adelle”? Jess: (laughs) Todd: Yes we are! We know all about Adelle! Jess: We do know all about Adelle, there has been quite a few actually…I think there was, what was the Drew/Belle one, Drelle Todd: That’s boring, Adelle’s way better. Jess: Yeah Adelle is so much better Todd: (makes face) No one would want that anymore… Jess: Which is harder to portray, the intense crying scenes or the steamy hot scenes? From Mickey Todd: Steamy hot scenes are easy (points to Jess) look at her! Jess: (Laughs) Todd: I don’t know the Aden crying scenes have been pretty full on scenes. I would say harder to portray intense crying scenes for me, they are pretty draining, its not like its hard to portray, its just really emotionally draining, takes a lot of focus and that sort of stuff Jess: Yeah it is tiring Todd: and this is from Susan, What do you think Aden and Belle mean to each other? …The world! Jess: (laughs) Todd: I think Belle to Aden is, its his first true love and he’s confided everything in her and respects her as a person and genuinely loves her, see her as an emotional rock Jess: Damn straight! Todd: (laughs) I’m being serious here! And yeah, I think pretty much the world, Aden doesn’t really have many people who he loves, so I think Belle is that person Jess: It’s that bad boy side that she’s drawn to him over Angelo. Clearly it’s a bit dangerous, there’s lots of chemistry between them. But obviously there is a lot of intensity in the intimate scenes between them Todd: (laughing) Jess: What are you laughing at? Todd: I’m not! Jess: I think he genuinely loves him in a way that she hasn’t loved even Drew and Lucas Todd: (makes a face at the mention of Drew and Lucas and does a funny hand gesture) Jess: No, but I didn’t think that would come across when we first started. I think the way the writers have written it is really beautiful and honest and probably what I love hearing the most from fans, that it’s believable, if people think that we are dating in real life or that we have chemistry, that’s a good thing for us because that means we’re doing our job. Todd: This is from Megan and Catherine, to Jess/Belle if this were the situation in real life, Aden/Angelo love triangle, who would you have chose and why? (Todd points to himself) Jess: Jeez, I don’t know! (Todd is still pointing to himself) Todd: Bad boy or loser cop? Jess: I me think personally I would, I dunno what am I kidding, I’m going for Aden Todd: Good Answer! Next question, Jessica, she sounds fantastic! Jess: Like the name! Todd: The scenes between Aden and Belle during the kidnapping were really intense, were they hard scenes to film? Jess: My God yes!! Todd: Yes! Jess: That was the most full on day! Todd: We were on all day, from 8 in the morning and finished 7.30 at night. We had 13 scenes straight all shot back to back, no breaks. All 3 episodes. It was just bang from the beginning from when I walk in with my father, then Rachel and the you came in just after Jess: Yeah, my day wasn’t as full on as yours. But it was really…from the beginning it was just such an intense storyline, we were crying from the beginning of the day till the end, all those tears are real, the shaking, all the redness of the faces was real. It’s a really hard place, I find it quite easy to get there but maintaining that all day for 6 hours is really difficult Todd: Yep Jess: and in between scene we would just be kinda crouched down on the floor, zoned out Todd: Good question Jessica Jess: Thanks! Sharlin, you have amazing chemistry on screen, which can only come from off screen chemistry, what’s the best part of working with each other? Over to you Todd Todd: I’d say the best part with working with Todd is that he’s got a good sense of humour and just a laid back, great guy, gives me so much to work with Jess: (Laughing) And what do you think the best part of working with Jess is? Todd: She’s a really great guy and she’s just, got a good sense of humour Jess: (Playfully punches Todd on the shoulder) Todd: Nah nah nah, okay, what I really love about Jess is that we have so much fun together, and that’s why the on screen chemistry works and all these ideas come out that we are actually dating. Because we have fun Jess: We have a stupid amount of fun! Todd: Yeah, it carries over on screen I think…sense of humor definitely, and she’s kinda like one of your guy mates but she’s still a girl, you know what I mean? You can muck around Jess: I hope you know I’m a girl, that’s what you think I’m a girl… Todd: (laughs) awesome! Jess: And the next question…how do you support each other when you are doing heavy scenes? Jess: One of the nicest things that Todd does for me is that when I’ve come from a really heavy scene, where I’ve been crying and really worked up, at the end of the scene he always comes up and gives me a hug. No, nuh, but its really nice and it means a lot that you are just there for each other and support each other. In the scene where Aden tells Belle that he was abused for the first time, afterward you and I just sat there hugging for like a minute because it was really full on and really nice to be there for each other. Todd: Yeah…okay this is from Keera (passes the page to Jess) Jess: You want me to read it..oh okay, hmm, hi, I watch your show every week and I’m in love with Todd Lasance, does he have a girlfriend and how can I get in touch with him? Well, him mobile number is 041- (laughs) Todd: 0421 Jess: 111111111 Todd: you can guess the rest! Okay do I have a girlfriend? No I don’t (points to Jess) Jess: (points to herself, laughing) and how could I get in touch with you? Todd: I’m good with fan mail, I do write back so if you wanna write me something I will read it. My parent would probably read it too, they love it! And I will get back to you Todd: This is from Lauren in the UK, Do you ever wish the writers would let you have a happy relationship, even for a week? Jess: (laughs) Todd: What are you saying? (pretending to be offended) That we are not happy? Jess: I do sometimes miss that happy scenes, like the best part of a relationship on the show is always when the characters are getting together, there’s always the push and pull and the cheeky stuff and the climbing through the window, and after a while you do get into the serious stuff, which is still fun Todd: The comfort zone Jess: Yeah, but we especially, we were actually talking about this the other day, we’re trying to add things that are not in the script because we want to make sure that Belle and Aden don’t become like an old married couple, every scene, when it’s a happy scene, we’re always trying to go, what can we do to keep it fresh and light and fun as well, and also to keep us going, the amount of time we do kinda do little ad libby things to make the other one laugh, especially in the beginning, we were always, if you actually watch our earlier scenes most of the times I’m really struggling not to laugh, it’s just so fun Todd: Yeah, yeah, good answer there! Jess: Thanks! Todd: Julie, serious question, can you give us some hint about what’s coming up for Aden and Belle? Jess: Oooooooo Todd: The audience…will enjoy what’s coming up! Jess: That is so blaze Todd: We listen to what you say, don’t we, the writers do Jess: Yeah, yeah yeah, Belle and Aden will definitely doing storylines for a while, whether they are happy, sad, tumultuous, we wont say! Jess and Todd: (both laughing hard) Jess: This was the one you weren’t meant to see! Andrea wants to know if Todd will have her babies!! Todd: (laughs) …..yes, I will Andrea Jess: (pats stomach) I’m one step ahead of you Andrea… no I’m kidding! Todd: MySpace, I told you, get involved!! Babies always!! Jess: Okay guys, thank you so much for writing in we really appreciate reading your emails and hearing from fans, its really that you guys take the time out to do that Todd: Absolutely, we love getting emails from you guys and answering questions and giving feed back and I just want to say a personal thank you to everyone out there who supports my acting and my character, I know I jump on the net when I can and just read the forums and get feedback from people and what people say about my character and performance is awesome I mean I really get a lot out of it and it’s great that people are really responding to Aden and also my work, I take it very seriously, we do listen to what you say and I do appreciate it so thank you Jess: Yeah, so keep writing to us, keep watching home and away and keeping going on the website and hopefully we won’t let Belle and Aden down! Todd: No we won’t, and now we might just rehearse… Jess: The pashing scene Todd: (lifts up an blanket and they both duck under it) Todd: Loved that part! Jess: Oh wait…that was a joke? (Both laughs)

But, I can’t watch the interview or episode right now because my internet is so slow right now. And it would take too long for them too load. I’ll watch them later one. Can’t wait until the episode is uploaded now. However, I did read the summary of the episode. It was so cute!! I can’t wait to see it now. Thank you so much adelle. And the interview!! Its was great!
