rising-flame Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 my question for people now. I went skydiving on saturday and cause i was kinda scared of jumping, when i did my tandem dive, another guy jumped with me, from what i can tell to make sure i was okay and to help out if i paniced. Anyway, i don't know anything about this guy other than he was friendly, was prepared to jump with me and is cute. So... would it be too weird for me to email one of the club people (the head of their facebook page who i've been in communciation with anyway) and ask if it's possible to find out the guys name so if he's on facebook i can send a message thanking him, cause having someone else jump with me made it so much easier. or would that be just a bad idea?
~Lynd~ Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 Go for it.It's similar to how my best friend found her boyfriend.
martha-jack Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 go for it, am sure the guy would appreciate you wanting to thank him and even if you cant you could always ask the head of the facebook page to pass on a message to him.
rising-flame Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 I sent the message to the owner and he's gonna look up the name for me. Unless I check my email at lunch I won't know though cause facebook is banned during the day at work
martha-jack Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 well good luck anywayz. hope you can find him to thank him.
rising-flame Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 nothing so far oh well, i'll survive i'm sure
rising-flame Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 the guy tried to give me a name, but was looking at people that did tandems. Hopefully he'll find something. Wish i had an iphone so i could check facebook, it's blocked between 9-5 at work. or roll on 5pm
Jess Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Oh dear, someone needs to shoot me, or something - shameless flirting is not goooood! Well, it is, but that's besides the point...
