yaz88 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 :o I cant believe you did that, abandoning this fic without telling us why Milo died, and what the hell happened to Aden You're so unbelievably mean grr... lol =(
honeychild Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 Man alive, i can't believe i've left it so long to update. i think its been over a year? tell you what though, i never forgot it, was just having a bit of trouble in the motivational department! but then with Justin actually being on the show i thought now would be a good time for a bit of a revival!! so here you go, here's the first instalment of the explanation of the cliffhanger i left you with!!! enjoy! ---------------------------- Belle rode in the ambulance with Louey, holidng her hand all the way to the hospital, trying to comfort her. Rachel met them outside as soon as they arrived, and the ambulence crew promptly filled her in on the situation as they wheeled Louey inside. 'Please Rachel,' Louey begged, 'I can't lose this baby, I can't. Please, save it, please.' 'Don't you worry, you will be fine. You and your baby are going to be just fine.' Rachel reassured her, but that her face was creased with worry suggested that she wasn't so sure. An hour later, Rachel stepped out of Louey's room looking frazzled, but intensely relieved. Belle stood up expectantly, having spent a tense hour worrying and she hoped it would all be good news. 'Rachel! Is she...?' she asked tentatively. 'She's fine, all good now.' Belle sighed with relief, 'And the baby?' 'It was close, but the baby's going to be fine too/' The both smiled with relief. 'You can go in and see her if you want.' Belle nodded gladly and followed Rachel into the room where Louey sat looking pale and tired. The large pillows she rested uopn seemed to dwarf the girl and for the first time Belle remembered just how young she was. 'Hey there,' belle whispered as she drew up a chair next to the bed, taking Louey's hand and stroking it gently. Louey turned to look at her, a small smile gracing her face, 'Belle....she saved the baby. I didnt lose it.' pride and happiness was evident in her voice. 'Yeah, you didnt.' Belle smiled back, 'It's definitely a fighter.' 'Just like his father....' Louey started but stopped, and Belle noticed she was trying to fight back tears. 'Who is the father anyway?' she asked, 'Don't feel you have to tell me or anything' she added quickly, incase she just came across as really nosey. God knows Summer Bay didnt need two Colleens!! 'His name was Michael....he was my boyfriend back at home and he was amazing and wonderful and...and...just before we came here he was hit by a car...and he died.' she sniffed, 'Thats why i cant lose this baby, its part of him....its all ive got left of him.' That tugged at Belle's heart, and she couldnt help but feel for this girl who had lost so much and still had a mountain ahead of her to climb. She squeezed her hand, 'Get some rest now, I'll be here when you wake up.' -------------------------------------MEANWHILE---------------------------------------------------- Justin sat dumbfounded by Aden's revelation. He had completely zoned out of everything around him. All he could hear was the roar of the storm in his ears, drowning out all other sounds. He could see Roman across from him, frantically trying to resucitate Aden and Milo yelling something, but he didn't know what. He heard the crack though. It was the type of sound that drives right to your bones and warns you - something bad is coming. From that moment it seemed to Justin that life was moving in slow motion. He followed Milo's frantic gestures to see a great tree buckling under the force of the storm and heading his way. He couldn't move. His mind was screaming at him to move, telling him to run for his life, but instead he remained paralysed, waiting for the tree to come crashing down on him. The fear was suffocating him as he waited for the pain. The tree fell. But Justin was not underneath it and he couldn't work out how that was. Until he saw who was. 'Milo!!!!!' he screamed as he scrambled to reach him. Milo had pushed him out of the way and now lay pinned u nder the weight of the tree. 'Ohmygod, ohmygod, ohmygod,' Justin madly tried to move the tree, but it was too heavy and Milo was well and truly stuck underneath. 'Justin!' Roman interrupted him and he looked up. Roman motioned to him and, with relief, Justin saw a rescue team making its way towards them through the trees. 'Over here!!' Roman called. 'We're here!!' The first person they saw was Alf, followed by paramedics. He came running over. 'Whats going on?' he shouted to be heard over the storm. 'Aden stopped breathing, but i managed to resucitate him. We need to move fast, Alf. I don't think he's gonna last much longer out here.' Roman shouted back. 'And then the tree fell and Milo pushed Justin out of the way....' The paramedics split, one to check Aden, the other to Milo. 'Roman, we have a chopper, but there's not enough room to carry both of them back at the same time.' Alf shouted, his eyes wide with worry. 'What?! What're we going to do??? We can't just leave one of them here!' Justin stood up angrily. 'Justin....' the small moan grabbed his attention and in an instance he was back by Milo's side. 'Mi, hey, hey, don't worry about anything, alright?' he tried to reassure him...and himself. Milo gave a slight shake of his head, 'No, J. It's my time...I know it is....' a small cry of pain escaped his lips and Justin's heart ached. 'No! No its not! You and me, we've got so much more to do and see....and Louey, she still needs you, and you've got so much more to tell the world! I need you...' he added at the end. 'And Aden needs you now, go with him...I'll always love you Justin...Always.' tears ran down both of the mens' faces as they realised this could be the last time they saw each other. 'Justin!' Roman yelled, 'I'll stay with Milo. They need to take Aden now, or else he won't make it!' Justin looked up and saw one of the paramedics had Aden on a stretcher, ready to be taken away. He knew he had to go. Deep in his heart, he knew this was it. He kissed Milo one last time, tears mingling with the rain. 'Always,' he whispered in his ear, 'And i'll see you again', and Milo smiled, knowing he had had everything anyone could want in life. He'd had love. In the helicopter on the way to the hospital Justin sat as the world moved around him. Numbness spread over his body and he realised that he was shaking, whether from the cold or adrenaline, he couldn't tell. When they arrived at the hospital there was a team waiting to whisk Aden way. All Justin could do now was wait. What a day this had turned out to be. ------ Belle sat looking at Louey as she slept. Really, there was nothing else she could do. She pulled out her camera and started to flick through old photos of her, Aden, Irene, Annie, Summer Bay, her whole life on a memory stick. She kept going back to one particular photo that she had taken a coupleof nights ago. She, Aden, Justin, Milo, Louey, Roman, Nicole, Irene, Geoff and Annie were all there having dinner together, It was like a big extended family at Christmas, but her eyes were drawn to Aden and Justin, sat side by side. Justin had obviously just told a funny story about Aden, ruffling his hair in a way only an older brother could, laughing, his eyes looking at his little brother with pride. Aden was also laughing, but trying to pull away from Justin in mock annoyance. The flush in his cheeks could've been mistaken for embarrassment or annoyance, but Belle knew it was from happiness. It was a beautiful photograph. She could only hope that there would be more of them in the future. She wiped a tear from her eye and looked up to see Louey watching her. 'Which photo are you looking at?' she asked. Belle showed her and immediately Louey understood. The two sat in silence for a moment, lost in their own thoughts, when Rachel rushed up, 'Belle and quick word?' Belled nodded and closed the door as she stepped outside, 'Whats going on? Whats happened?' Rachel spoke quickly, 'They found Aden. He's alive and they're bringing him in now. I need you to tell Louey, but do not let her get too excited or stressed or anything that'll bring her heart rate up. I've got to go, but its looking good!' she smiled wanly as she rushed off. Belle could hardly contain her glee. He was alive! He had been found! Soon...soon everyone would be safe and together again. She went back into Louey's room to tell her the good news. ---------------------------------- but will it be good news for long? who knows!!!! only time will tell!! and dont worry, its not going to be another year until you hear!!

honeychild Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 alright me lovelies, glad you enjoyed my return and to make up for lost time i thought i'd give you a bit more now! yous have been so patient after all! thanks for the kind words, hopefully i'll keep writing things you like!!! --------------------------------------- And so everyone waited. They waited for Milo to arrive at the hospital. They waited for the doctors to work out what was wrong with Aden. They waited for anything to happen, and every moment was agony. When Milo arrived, it was Roman who had to tell Justin that they had lost him on the journey over. When he took the news he just sat, head in hands; it was what he'd expected to hear. He couldn't cry, he couldn't get angry. He had nothing left to give. And so Roman just sat with him in silent solidarity and they waited for news on Aden. Soon Belle came to see him, to find out if anything had changed and Roman took her aside to tell her what had happened. She looked at justin and saw how drained he was and knew she couldn't tell him about Louey, not yet. She told Roman instead and he agreed that now was not the time. They were interrupted as Rachel exited Aden's room, they all jumped to attention, agonisingly trying to judge whether she would bring good or bad news. 'Is he ok? Whats wrong with him? Is he going to be alright??' Justin fired the questions at her and she had to put up her hand in order to stop him from continuing. 'He's got a concussion from the headwound and he's got hypothermia. He's also got appendicitis and we're hoping to take him up to surgery pretty soon, as we're trying to raise his body temperature at the moment. The hypothermia complicates things a bit, but things are looking quite good at present. Only time can tell.' she smiled at the reassuringly. 'Meanwhile, have you seen Louey?' Confusion crossed his features and she realised that she'd made a mistake, 'Louey? Whats wrong with Louey? Why's she in here?' he asked anxiously. He didnt know if he could take another person he loved being hurt. 'Why don't i take you to her, and let her explain?' Rachel suggested, and gently directed him to Louey's room, where Louey was sitting up in bed, looking annoyed because no one had come to tell her anything about Aden in absolutely aaaaaaages. She looked up when Rachel knocked on her door and said, 'Hey, how're you feeling?' 'I'm ok,' she replied. 'Bored. Have you heard any - Justin!!!' 'Hey kid,' he said as he sat on the edge of her bed, smiling at her happiness to see him. Rachel checked Louey's vitals quickly, then excused herself, leaving them alone to talk. 'Aden?' she asked quickly, not particularly wanting to have to talk about her situation quite yet. 'Going to surgery soon for appendicitis, he's got a concussion and hypothermia, but they think he should be ok.' 'Oh thank god! i was so worried, y'know, cos no one was telling me anything...' 'Louey.' he tried to stop her but she kept going. '....and i felt so out of it and..' he rolled his eyes, 'Louey.' She stopped and looked up at him guiltily, 'Yeah?' 'What're you trying to avoid telling me?' 'Promise you won't get mad.' she looked up at him, her eyes pleading. He frowned slightly but said sincerely, 'I promise. Cross my heart.' 'Ok....i'm....i'm' she took a deep breath, looked him straight in the eyes and blurted it out. 'I'm pregnant.' 'Oh.' he said, his expression unreadable. 'Are you mad?' she asked timidly. She'd never been on the end of one of Justin's rages and she hoped she never would be. It took a lot to anger him, but when something did it was like having the Hulk in your living room. 'I'm not mad, no, i couldnt be mad at you for something like this....just a little....disappointed i guess. It's Michael's, right?' he asked gently. 'Yeah..and i nearly lost it, Justin. Nicole and i got in an argument and she pushed me and i nearly lost it and it would be like losing him all over again...' her eyes started to well up and she fought to steel herself. She never cried like this! She blamed it on the hormones. 'Hey,' Justin comforted her. 'Its ok, we'll get through this, its all going to be fine.' 'I was going to tell you this evening, Milo said i had to - what?' she looked misitfied as pain shot over Justin's face at the mention of Milo's name. 'What aren't you telling me?' she demanded. And so Justin was forced to tell her of the tragedy that had occurred. Belle and Roman, waiting in the hallway, were chillled to the bone by the sound of Louey's cries of anguish. The beating of the rain against the windows and the howling winds outside reminded them that nature was in charge here. It could hurt you, it could beat you down and it could kill you. It could take away everything from you in an instant. ------------------------------ so a little shorter bit, but hope you liked it! Don't worry more will come soon, just read, review and enjoy! Wee sneaky peeky for next time.....Larry! mwahahaha!!! also, i'm now taking suggestions for the name of Louey's baby! at the end of it all when she has it, i'll choose the best one!! get your thinking caps on!!!!
