January Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 I’m glad Margaret has been able to go home and continues to improve. I have every confidence the “crash scene investigators” will get at the truth. Their work never ceases to amaze me.

I hope it was just an accident, and it wasn't anyone's fault. Poor Todd must feel so guilty whether it was his fault or not. I really really hope he didn't do anything wrong. If it was his fault does anyone know what would happen to him? would he just get a fine or would it be more serious??

Hmph. An "elaborate" bunch, eh? Well maybe he should have just gone to her house and spat in her face, would that have been "elaborate" enough for you, Mr judgmental-jerk reporter? Glad to see you're taking sides or anything, spending a whole article detailing the woman's injuries and then implying that Todd has something to hide, simply because he's an actor and would have people ADVISING HIM not to say anything to the likes of "people" like you who would twist everything he says against him anyway...

Well, if it was his fault, depending what he did to cause the accident - but I'd think a possible ban from driving for a period would be possible... Dunno waht the courts / laws are like in Oz though!
lolajaney Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 A definite downside of being famous, jerks of reporters want to blame you for things even if its not your fault. I feel for Todd, the thing is this seems to be dragging for something that was, in all likelihoods, an accident witnessed by people, who it seems, want to report their sights to the press before the police. I'm hoping everyones well and good and that the poor boy will be left alone soon.

I reckon elderly people should have to retested every few years. I'm certain an 80 year old wouldn't be as sharp as a 23 year old. Not saying it was her fault. I wasn't there so i don't know. Just my opinion :cool:
Lise Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 In NZ once you get over a certain age you have to re-sit the test every so often but the test is easier than a younger person would sit. One of the definite down sides of being famous. I hope it's dealt with fairly.
