rachel&kim Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 Yeah I miss Sharon so much! She didn't take herself as seriously as Cheryl and Danii I felt. Although I do like Cheryl as a judge, it was more fun, there were more laughs between the judges when Sharon was around.
Zetti Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 I have a feeling Simon will bring back Sharon. I miss the bickering and laughter between Simon, Louis and Sharon which we saw in the first two 3 series of X Factor. Me too. I love Sharon and Cheryl but I dont want them to axe Danni. She has done a good job on X factor and doesnt deserve all this badlashing some people I know are doing.
Anaya Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 Another Sharon fan right here. I loved her on the show, she made it all they more entertaining and I loved her and Lou-lou grouping together and getting at Simon (in a funny way ofcourse). She was hilarious to watch, I even liked her over the top behaviour (sort of diva strops and walking off etc.) and I think the judges had great chemistry with one another, even though they didn't see eye to eye all of the time. I don't mind Danni or Cheryl, but I find them a little boring, their critique's are always so safe (I know Sharon was always kind & motherly to all the contestants, but she was still very entertaining) and I don't think they bring anything extra to the show. They don't have enough personality or experience or uniqueness, in short they don't have the X Factor when it comes to judging.
rachel&kim Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 For Sharon fans: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fnrelH-ToKg I know it's rude to laugh at the contestants but this video is hysterical!
HeavenForbid Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 I remember that! That was so funny!
Cal Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 For Sharon fans: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fnrelH-ToKg I know it's rude to laugh at the contestants but this video is hysterical! Sharon and Louis made a great team! I really wish Sharon would come back because she was the only reason why I watched the show. I find Dannii a bit difficult to warm to, and I'm not a Cheryl fan so...
Anaya Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 ROFL! That clip is so damn hilarious, the best bit is when she almost bangs her head against the door when they are leaving and are still in hysterics. Thanks for posting that link. Sharon & Lou-Lou, the awesome twosome. Bring her back please.
bttb-rox! Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 I just love that clip! The head banging incident and Sharon's infectious laugh are the highlights for me . Please forgive me - I need a small rant. I'm really, really getting cheesed off about Alex. I love her and her voice, but there's something lacking. Like I said last week, she needs to find her niche - something that she's comfortable with but can set her apart from the rest. I know that's easier said than done, as there are always going to be singers with similar styles etc., but every song that she's performed so far has been very unoriginal IMO and it'd be a shame to see such a young, talented and incredibly enthusiastic girl not get the chance to do something a bit different. To whoever is in charge of the songs for the following few weeks - please give Alex some original stuff to sink her teeth into. You might regret it if you don't...
rachel&kim Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 I do agree with you about Alex. Last week was the first time she really stood out for me as a contender so I watched over her previous performances and she is really good. Like, really good. Her voice is amazing. But for some reason I don't remember her after a show. I agree, she needs to do something original and really make it her own. It's Mariah Carey week isn't it? That will probably suit her voice.
Anaya Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 ^^Mariah Carey will definitely suit her voice, but she needs to put her own stamp on the performance, show us a bit of her own personality and uniqueness. Thats the only way she's going to be remembered at the end of the show. I also don't think any of her song choices (or any songs chosen for her) have been wrong, infact I think she's had some amazing songs to perform. What she has a habit of doing is performing each song identically to the original. She must stop mimicing other performers and just be herself IMO.
