I am in a state of complete shock...and rage! HOW did that happen? HOW is Daniel still in the competition. WHO is voting for him?

Laura has an inCRedible voice and she just did not deserve to go. I did feel sorry for the judges though, both Laura and Ruth sang amazingly in their survival songs. Ruth did the same thing last time she was in the bottom two. I was certain she was going and then she sang Purple Rain and saved herself.

They just shouldn't have been there. It should have been Rachel and Daniel and Daniel should have gone. And poor Laura looked so resigned to her fate. A fate which shouldn't have been hers!!

In her flashback video though she was so different, in the auditions she had her own style, her own 'bounce' and then when it went back to her she just looked a bit flat. I don't know who was styling her but I feel like they kind of stamped something out of her. I can't really explain it.

I'm not sure how I feel about Diana getting a pass into next week either. She's my favourite but it just doesn't seem fair. I reckon even if they'd opened the voting lines and she hadn't sung she would have gone though anyway. I just feel bad for the others, even though she probably wouldn't have gone anyway.

I think Lois should have allowed the voting to go to the deadlock but I don’t think it was entirely his fault as two other people voted for Laura to go home. Also, Ruth and Laura did receive the least votes out of everyone so I’m guessing that for some reason people just didn’t want to vote for them (which is surprising to say the least). Neither of those two should have been in the bottom and as I said before this only emphasises how flawed the elimination process is.

Nethier Laura or Ruth should not have been in the bottom 2. But I liked Ruth better then Laura. Daniel needs to go!

I loved JLS and Alex today!! I so want JLS to go the final now (i want them to win but I dont think they will)

Its all right you harping on about who should go and who should stay you have to remember its the public that vote not the judges some one out there didnt like the too girls Lara and Ruth, as for Diana getting a pass to next week thats only fair thwe poor girl couldnt sing and she.d seen a specilist that morning wh had said he didnt reconmend for her to sing as she could do morwe harm than good.

Exactly Janice. This was the point I was making earlier on. If people really wanted Laura/Ruth not to be in the bottom two then they really should have picked up the phone and voted for them. It’s a simple as that!

Laura shouldnt have gone but then neither should have Ruth, It should have been Daniel, I dont think he will last much longer

Once Laura was in the bottom two, maybe there was an element of 'let's get rid of her while we can' from Simon and Louis. After all she was one of the strongest contenders overall. I think she suffered from the piano playing - it made her singing seem weaker than in previous weeks.

As for Daniel, I can't help thinking that some of the people voting for him are having fun with the competition. How long can they keep him in?
