Eoghan can't win, he's just so mediocre, characterless, run-of-the-mill. Simply put, just so... meh!

The boy hasn't even got it if the show was called the cute factor. He's not even cute to me. I really truly just don't get it.

Oh I agree entirely with you Kat on Eoghan.

And Alex is another conundrum for me. Great voice, can dance, performs well yet I find her a little soulless. She cries, i'm not bothered. They tell me she's got a great personality, I can't see it at home. She's really trying hard, seems like a nice girl but I find her samey. Like she's an imitation of something that we've already got the better version of.

Also whilst i'm charmed by Diana's uniqueness, JLS' laid back charisma and Ruth's fiestyness & fighter spirit. I find nothing to connect me to Alex.

Anaya, that's exactly why I dislike Alex. There's something that doesn't connect, and her voice is nothing new. YES she sounds like Whitney, Mariah, Leona, christina or whoevers songs she performs, but she doesn't have her own voice. She sounds exactly like them. YES that means she has an incredible amount of talent, but it doesn't give her the X Factor, does it? The X Factor is about being unique, talented, charismatic, personality and all that stuff, and the most important thing is that they have to connect with the audience. You don't have to dance, by the way, Louis. It's not a dancing competition.

Next week however will be good, now that they get to choose their own songs. It will give them a chance to show whats unique about them and what gives them the X Factor. And the finalists release song is perfect - Hallelujah is a really versatile, beautiful song. If you don't sound unique while singing that you can forget about it.

/my opinion.

Gutted Ruth went. She was outstanding last night, but someone had to go. Both of her performance was fantastic.

I still have no idea why Eoughan is still there. I mean who whispers their way through a song? Simon is clever though. Having loud backing vocals and put on a big production, so it will cover his mediocre voice. Here's hopinh he is out next week.

Alex. I like her. But I personally don't want her to win. To be blunt, we already have a Leona Lewis and IMO we don't need a second grade Leona as a winner.

If I'm totally honest, I have to say I have been disappointed with Diana's performances lately. Her first 4 live performance was brilliant. But after missing a week, due to laryngitis, & Having bad press, it really has knocked her confidence and I don't think she's completely recovered from it. I hope next week, she can pull it out of the bag and give a great performance. The good thing is, they choose their own song. So I'm hoping Diana will sing something by Damien Rice. Preferably "The Blowers Daughter" or "Cannonball".

This is what I think: Alex is a good singer and performer but like many have said before, from what we've seen so far she has nothing new to offer. Diana is 'different' and 'unique' as lots of people have suggested but lately I haven't been impressed by her. She had a certain edge to her a few weeks back but she seems to have lost it. Eoughan has improved a lot recently but he is definitely not a better singer than the other remaining contestants and that leaves JLS. I don't think we've seen them at their best. They've done a decent job with the songs they have had so far but I feel those songs are more Louis than JLS and at this stage in the contest they should be doing more than just a 'decent job'.

Were Alex or Diana to win I'm sure that they will both be able to have successful careers. Eoughan will definitely have the support of his current fans, most of which I'm going to assume are quite young, so it's hard to say for how long he'll have that support. As for JLS I'm sure they too can have success, for a while at least, but it is well known that boy bands never last for that long.

If I were to predict who would win I would say either Alex or Diana.

I am DEVASTATED that Ruth left on Saturday. I really thought it was going to be Eoghan when the two of them were standing there at the end. After the first song even Simon said that he thought Alex and Ruth were the best that night. I'm unspeakably p***ed off that he's still there and Ruth was out. She's been my favourite to win for the last couple of weeks.

Diana was my favourite and I was willing to give her a second chance but something seems to have really got lost in her recently. I can't explain it exactly but she doesn't have what she had when she started. I'm still hoping she'll make a come back. For me, disco week was her best by far.

^ I feel the same about Diana, over the last few weeks she seems to have lost her sparkle. She seems to be trying so hard that she's not actually producing amazing vocals anymore :(

Ruth should have stayed, she has been consistently fantastic from day one
